I handed these guys a big project that I just didn't want to tackle - replacing all the ball joints and front control arm bushings in my Lincoln. One way or another, a mistake was made and they received incorrect parts for this particular car. Unfortunately, the difference was too subtle to prevent installation. Afterward, the problem became clear. It was a bummer for me, but I have another car so not the end of the world. That's one of the tricks to driving inexpensive older cars; have a backup. But I'll guarantee you it was a HUGE bummer for the shop because they had to do the this big job twice. Ya know, mistakes do happen. My guess is that Erker's doesn't make very many. The parts issue for my car was a strange case - just the kind of thing that'll take you by surprise. They didn't hesitate to make it right and handled the whole thing gracefully, and that makes all the difference. This is an old-school independent shop that has been around for a very long time. That doesn't happen by accident. I'm an experienced mechanic and few shops impress me. But I won't hesitate to go back to Erker's. Recommended.

I had just bought a used car when the bolt on the ac compressor broke. When called they said that they were booked out until next week but could possibly take a look at it the next day. So I had my car towed to them. The next day I called to leave my info with them and was told wonderful news that my car would be ready tomorrow! The price wasn’t outrageous either. They really went above and beyond. Thanks guys!

They have replaced two bearings on my Festiva and do great and timely work. Never try to upsell me and always let me know what my car does (and doesn't) need. Honest and well priced! Recommended.

Great Team! Best Mechanic's in the State in my opinion. Would not trust my vehicle to anyone else.

The absolute worst mechanics ever! I'm currently listening to the squealing of my serpentine belt as my wife drives through Idaho. The squealing that they supposedly fixed! They replaced a tensioner after telling me it was the brand of belt that was causing the issue then charged me an extra $300 without my consent and never even fixed the problem. Also they replaced my steering box but didn't tighten the main hose. I had power steering fluid spewing everywhere. Luckily I keep extra fluid and tools or else I would of been screwed. They don't call you right away when they are fished with your vehicle either and to top it off, after quoting me a price they charged me an extra 10% on every job because legally they can according to Tom!?? I originally went to them because I live close and saw good reviews but I obviously have to find another shop. I'll end this with the B service they charged $479.00 for and didn't even put in the right fuel filters! I had to change them out 2 weeks later! This place will confirm your fears about taking your truck in to get worked on by bum mechanics. Thousands of my hard earned dollars and time away from my family down the drain! If my truck was on fire, I wouldn't trust their water to put it out.
