Labour rates are on the extreme high end of what is acceptable. They said it would definitely be done before noon the next day (while I was in the middle of a road trip) after they had done a full diagnosis, and were off by a few days. After the repair, part of the job was incomplete (absolutely unacceptable given the high labour rate) and when I called to inquire, they said they would call me back, and after more than 3 weeks, they hadn't, and I was forced to get another mechanic to fix what Mcgibbon's neglected to.

Pretty bad experience. They weren't sure what was wrong. Got mad when I asked for the codes. Thank god we were just passing through. Found an actual mechanic in Fernie who spoke with us and did a thorough diagnosis

What a bunch of crooks, quoted a price for work, obviously to get me in the door, then surprised me with a bill twice as much for the same job. Conveniently forgot our phone conversation about the price, denied ever quoting me. Wouldn't go here again if it was the last garage on earth. Choose Denham Ford or even Canadian Tire, at least you get some honesty and reasonable customer service. STEER VERY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE - WITH EVERY PUN INTENDED.

The lady from out of town must have been at the wrong shop. Lawrence and Doug are great. We have worked with them with all of our vehicles for the past 8 years we have been in Cranbrook. They are super fair on everything we have ever had done. McGibbons is also a huge part of the community with continual support of all the local events and charities. I send all my friends there.
