I would give 10 stars if I could! My husband and I just purchased a new side by side and if you are looking to talk to someone that knows EVERYTHING about bikes oh need to go talk to Blake. He made this purchase go so smoothly and was so helpful. It’s not many places you go to that will stay open after hours for you to do financing and even came in on a holiday when the store was considered close to insure we had our bike for the long weekend. Every time we enter there is always half a dozen people offering to help and greeting us well mostly our daughter with a smile. I couldn’t have asked for any better customer service they truly are “bringing service back” Thanks a million Blake!

If I could have chosen zero stars, I would have, but I had to select at least 1 star which they are not entitled to. I own 3 Stihl chainsaws, a 170, 270 and 311; I've always thought that the Stihl chainsaw was a great saw and the company would stand behind their products which they do, however "Yard Gear" where the chainsaw was purchased has very bad customer service and I feel like I've been stolen from, which will affect my decision from ever buying a Stihl chainsaw again. I've had my recent chainsaw for under a year and therefore it's still under warranty, during the use of my saw, the bar oil emptied itself twice, both time I used the saw, I set it down on my garage floor after using it and the bar oil emptied all over the floor, so I brought it to Yard Gear since it's under warranty; I was asked to pay $28.00 up front and this would be reimbursed once they looked up my warranty for my chainsaw and would be returned when I pick-up my chainsaw, "not that they would keep my $28.00 if they didn't find anything wrong". Today I pick-up my chainsaw and Yard Gear informs me that they could not find anything wrong with my saw, only that the oil was thin; like I told them, I said, I've been working with the Stihl chainsaw for years and have never encountered this issue, the sales person opened up the cover in the oil reservoir, and said "this is red bar oil, our bar oil is not red" so I explained that Canadian Tire and CO-OP Farm sell bar oil and this is where I purchased my bar oil which is red, the sales person was making it seem like I did something wrong because the bar oil was red, so I asked for my $28.00 back and I was informed that because they could not find anything wrong with the chainsaw, the only thing the tech found was the bar oil was too thin, that they were keeping the $28.00 as a minimum service fee even though my chainsaw is under warranty. I've read each and every review on this site about Yard Gear and have noticed that the site is followed very closely by Yard Gear, they have responded to any criticism by never taking any ownership or blame, all responses were shifting the bad review away from Yard Gear, so I can't wait to see what they have to say about this review, but let me make it clear, my next purchase will be determined by the customer service I received from Yard Gear, as a company, you could have made your supplier Stihl lose a paying customer but there are other dealers to purchase the Stihl chainsaw because I still continue to stand behind the brand. I contacted Stihl Canada directly in Ontario, they informed me that this was not their policy and it was implemented by Yard Gear to charge the $28.00 fee. I'd be curious to know how many other people out there they have scammed out of $28.00 by saying there's nothing wrong with their product.
