HI my name is John P from Quality Grinding Inc. We are a precision machine shop in Buffalo, NY. Rick form Great Lakes Diesel came into are shop asking if we could make him a set of pulleys for one of his dressed up cat motors. So we did the job and Rick comes in telling us a sob story about how he is behind on cash flow and how he was waiting to sell the motor for payment. Well taking him as an honest man I let him take all but the largest pulley after he said he would come in the following week with payment and pick up the last pulley. Well that never happened. I placed call after call to try and get some feedback and still haven't received any responses or payment. Rick is a dishonest man and hope people will see this before doing business with him.

We are a company located in the Galapagos islands. After searching for alternatives to purchase two CAT 3406 marine engines, we decided to work with GLAD. Our experience was top notch. The quality of the work on the engines (two units of marine CAT 3406's) was impeccable. Our dealings were done via email. We are some 2,700 miles away (in a straight line) from Lackawanna, NY. Everything went smooth. We trusted some $ 140,000 to GLAD for the two engines and its many options, and they DELIVERED all of what was agreed upon. There are few persons or companies that still do business in the old way; based on trust and honesty. We can say GLAD and Rick Plauman is one of those.
