These guys know what they are doing! 100% up to date on the laws for MTO, and their rates are VERY reasonable. They take the time to educate you on what may need to be done, but also quote everything out for you to decide. I fixed a 20 year old trailer that needed tons of work for half the price of a new one. Money well spent, wouldn't hesitate to recommend these guys to anyone. Seriously, I had no clue that the S hooks on my safety chains were actually illegal! They weren't 20 years ago... I've read the review from Paul S but can't quite understand how it's the same place. I guess he wasn't happy, but if it was that simple, why not just do it yourself? My trailer issues were far too complex, I needed new bushing's, new bearing, and new tires, in addition to some electrical work. There's really no risk here, you can pay the $80 inspection fee then just walk away if you think it's too much after they quote. You lose 80 bucks but that's it, and you'll know what needs to be done.

I dropped off company truck at Equipall Inc in morning on June 9, 2015 in order to have electrical trailer plug replaced both on truck and trailer. The mechanic assured me that he will call me with an estimate before proceeding with work. The plug on truck was working and needed simply change of wire order. We usually do this kind of maintenance work ourselves although our technician was away that day. We know that that type of work usually takes around 10-20 minutes and requires about a plug which costs $8 and wire connectors worth around $4. there was also a blown fuse that takes around 1 minute two replace. Rick from Equpall only called me after work was completed and told me that it will cost me $280 including taxes. I told him to stop any work because the numbers are two high and not to do any work to the which required around $15 dollars in parts and 20 mins of labour. I came to pick up our truck next morning on June 10, 2015. As I came to pay what was announced without estimate i was served with another invoice for work on a trailer. Truck work invoice $281.29 and trailer invoice $161.21 for total of $ 446.50 . All work was performed without previously arranged estimate and greatly overpriced. For comparison we had same work done on other truck with Canadian Tire and paid $62 including taxes and work on that same trailer $ 48 including taxes. We will be sending this to our paralegal team if partial refund is not awarded since I believe that I am not the only customer who was dishonestly treated by Equipall Inc STAY AWAY. Business looks like its dying and and there is not enough customers to support the business. Shady practices are driving it out. STAY AWAY!!!!!!!
