Excellent service from these guys, I have just got my 2008 Range Rover Discovery back on the road thanks to Diesel Engines r us. It had been languishing on my driveway for 5 months, a well-kept 2008 example, but with an estimate of £10,000 + vat to repair - from my local independent Land Rover specialist, I was in despair. Then I was given a Diesel Engines r us Ltd business card by a friend who had his Range repaired by them. When I looked at their reviews I was amazed to read the review of Mr i. He had his landy’s engine replaced for under 5K including vat, and he thinks he was overcharged. I drove to their garage the next day, it’s a big operation based in a warehouse. They got one of their forklifts to bring a metal container outside the customers waiting area, opened it and lifted-out, what looked like a brand new engine. I explained that I had seen the one star review of Mr i, and asked if the engine I had just seen with a recon turbo could be done for the same price. I am over-the-moon. I have a recon engine & turbo fitted for under £5,000 - with 12 months warranty which they will increase to 24 months - if I continue to use them for service and repairs. All this thanks to a bad review, well done Mr i. Now it appears Mrs i, is calling them crooks! That is mean and hurtful to me, let alone them! Hence this review - To the chaps at Diesel Engines r us I say this: Give beggars an inch of land they will thieve a yard. Thanks, the 5 stars are well deserved.

Terrible experience with Diesel Engines are us. Bob was sweet and convincing older guy who promised great prices and service but Adam who is the Director and his uncles or brothers or whoever they are they are all just just rip off merchants and just out to get as much money as is possible from you at a vulnerable time like when the engine in your car blows up !!! Best advice sell it for scrap or go else where BUT DO NOT GIVE DIESEL ENGINES ARE US a single penny. Crooks

Nice people, even though we didn't end up purchasing an engine from these guys (through no fault of their own) I was amazed at the help they offered and they even refunded the deposit outside of the usual time frame! and offered more help and advice! Would definitely use again. What a friendly team :-) Thanks guys.
