Exceptional service from start to finish for my Audi Q5. Travis, the mechanic is highly knowledgeable, diagnosing and fixing MANY of my car's issue swiftly and effectively. Prices are always fair, and his customer service is very friendly—I was even issued a refund 2 months later for being charged too much. I highly recommend John's auto for anyone needing reliable and timely automotive care!

We have a mercedes sprinter based motorhome..tried several dealerships in whithorse but no one could help us, and were booked one month out. Found out about Johns Auto Repair very busy but agreed to put code reader on our sprinter to diagnose problem...ordered part and replaced in three days...Thanks Travis for saving us ..great workmanship and service we'll be back.

Took my car in for some work, and just to diagnose the issue cost $150, which is an extremely high hourly rate. Asked for the quote to fix everything and was told it would be sent within two days. 4 business days later I hadn’t received the quote and when I called I got no answer. The next day I called again to request my quote again and was told the mechanic was out and would send it. They did not. Later that day I called for the 4th time and was told it had been sent, but received the email while I was on the phone with him. Finally. The quote itself had huge markups on every part and excessive labour, about double what it should have been. I confirmed this with a different mechanic who quoted half the price. TL;DR - took forever to get a quote from them/don’t answer phones -hourly rate is higher than normal -up charge on all parts 50%+

I brought my 96 Eurovan in to replace the serpentine belt that I brought from out of town. They took the old one out but the new one didn’t fit. Unfortunately there wasn’t a replacement locally and we had to leave the next day so couldn’t wait. They put the old one back in as it wasn’t that bad to begin with. John didn’t even charge me for the time spent! Honest, knowledgeable, and friendly service. I highly recommend John’s Auto for all your mechanical needs.
