We made an appointment and took our jeep in for a total inspection. We had just bought the jeep and it's old (1998) but we wanted to know what we were looking at having to fix in the near future. My boyfriend did some research and found that L&M specializes in working on jeeps. When he talked to the person on the phone about the appointment, he told them what we knew and about sounds that we were hearing. We took the jeep in and they had it for the whole day...don't know how long they actually looked at it. When we got it back the estimate they gave us was for rebuilding both our front and rear differentials. Basically the only thing it seems they "looked" at was what we said we thought had problems. There was no mention of anything else in the vehicle that they even looked at. When my boyfriend called to ask about this, the mechanic said he didn't see anything catastrophic. That sounds like a blanket statement to cover up the fact that they didn't even look at anything else. We paid $105 for an inspection that by all accounts we didn't even receive. We have now taken the jeep to another garage and as far as it is now, the things that L&M said were wrong may be what needs to be fixed but it may be something else entirely. I believe that they just sent us out with an estimate that would benefit them ($2500 worth) and that was that. We won't recommend this place or ever go there again. For a place that supposedly specializes in jeeps, they don't seem to care much.

I will never return to this place of business nor will I ever suggest it to anyone even my worst enemy. They always upsell you on things you don't need. They always have your vehicle for over a week. They never call you with an update you have to call them almost daily and it seems to be an inconvenience for them.

These guys have been helping me out for about 2 years now. Always friendly, trustworthy, even helped me recover a fob a dropped in the lot a while back. Service is always fast and they are always willing to help you out with your car problems. Highly recommended for auto problems.

Helped me track down a pesky exhaust leak on my 97 F250. They took the time to accurately diagnose and fix the problem, and then stood behind their work.
