I just had the worst buying experience of my 60+ year life at Trailer Craft. I made an appointment the week before to have a new plow installed on my truck the following Tuesday. Drove 200 miles from home and dropped the truck off Monday evening. The salesman said there would be no problem with getting the truck back Tuesday afternoon. Big problem with that, since they didn't have a mount in stock. Received a call from the Service Dept. Tuesday AM alerting me of the problem, saying that there was a mount already in transit, and it should get there that afternoon, but I wouldn't be able to pick up the truck until Wednesday. Extended my hotel stay another night. Called Wed. AM to check status: BIG PROBLEM! - there wasn't a mount in transit as they told me the day before. I told them to undo whatever they'd done to my vehicle, put my old mount back on the truck, and I'd pick it up at noon. After a return call from a manager, who offered to reimburse me for another hotel night (Whooppee!), I reluctantly agreed to stay another night for 50% off the installation cost, as long as I could get the truck by noon on Thur. I finally got my truck at 2:00 in the afternoon on Thurs. NEXT PROBLEM: After shopping, I started on the 200 mi trip home, and when darkness hit, and I turned on the new, supposedly aimed headlights, I found they were aimed too low, about 20' from the truck. So I crawled the rest of the way home (100 mi) at very low speed. Bottom Line: I should have gone with my first instinct and retrieved my truck on Tuesday, and gone somewhere else that hopefully wouldn't be as incompetent. If I could give a negative star, I would.
