Best family I have ever worked for. Personal, caring, practical, patient, fair and courteous. They have given me the opportunity to succeed, have challenged me to be an ever better technician and worked with me when I presented questions. I can happily work knowing Steve wants the absolute best for the customer and isn't out to 'just make a buck' and he is fair & honest to a fault. Having previously been at 5 other jobs spread across Alaska over 9 years, I can fully recommend Metropolitan Garage to friends, family and my mother. This is the best shop in Fairbanks in my opinion. Word of caution: If you try them out you may never go anywhere else. They are that awesome.

They did great work on my Toyota Tacoma. I always felt informed and the process and they like to not keep vehicles overnight, so the work is almost always finished on the first day.

Awesome, honest mechanic. They get repairs done quickly and thoroughly explain everything. I wouldn't bring my car anywhere else!

Could not be more happy with the recent service I received from metro garage, they are now the only place I take my vehicles.

So I love metro garage, they have been great each visit. ONLY REASON I gave a 4 star is that after $4,000+ of work my car completly shut down just hours later. Turns out a alternator wire was loose. We dropped the car off and the following morning they were extremely apoligetic and helpful. As compensation I got a free oil change and the wire fix was free of course. While i appreciate all of the effort I do feel a little off put by just a free oil change for something that could have killed my family and I. BUT I respect their help and honesty 100%!!
