I'm still fairly new to the area, and have just started going to Kirby Automotive, but the few times I have been so far I have been very satisfied with their level of work and customer service! They have been accommodating with my schedule, having my car done in a sufficient amount of time that doesn't inconvenience me. Bryan/Brian is very helpful in explaining what is needed and what is not, and is not overbearing when providing recommendations. Any suggestions that are provided come with detailed explanations. The waiting area is always clean and professional, and the service desk is always courteous.

Its a good honest place. I take my car in there to diagnose the problem. Most of the time I take it home to do the work my self. Last time I was there it was $100.00 to look at my car then they wanted $265.00 to replace my ignition coil. I said no then headed to the auto part store purchased my coil for $65.00. Headed home put it on in less then 5 minutes. Told Kirby they charge to much for parts, they said they charge 40 times retail cost. To me that's to high for something so simple to fix. Basically your paying for your possible replacement part ahead of time

I just moved to the area and needed to find a reputable service center for my 3 vehicles. One of the "barometers" I use in that search is to see how busy the business is on a daily basis (busy = good). Kirby's was consistently busy indicating (to me) that they had a good and loyal customer base. I've had 2 of my 3 vehicles serviced there so far and am very happy with the services and value received thus far.

These people will rip you off. I am new to Prescott Valley and needed some work done on my BMW x5. They were so nice and friendly and said they could fix anything. I had a relatively small oil leak but I like my car in perfect running condition. Brian told me it would be $1200 to fix the leak completely. I thought that was high but I didn't know where else to go and they were very nice. So I agreed but also assumed I wouldn't have another leak for at least a year or more. Not more than a month goes by and I notice the leak again. I called the shop and even took my car back in. Brian explained to me that it was a different leak in the same area. I understood when I paid the $1200 that ALL the leaks would be fixed especially for that price. He refused to fix the problem and denied my money back. Now I'm out the $1200 and have to find someone I can trust to fix the problem once again. I will be getting a warranty this time.
