What a disappointment... I'm the owner of a trucking company from the East coast. I worked with this shop over the years and made them my shop in the Los Angeles area. The shop manager there, Steve, gave me the confidence I am dealing with good, and honest people. My drivers feedback was also positive. I gave this shop all my business when my trucks was in the L.A. area which is pretty darn frequent. My confidence shook when I was charged $132.26 to replace a hub cup on my trailer. Money don't grow on trees in my line of business. Why would you charge me $50 more than a TA would? this is the simplest job ever. Takes 10 minutes to replace a $20 item? Steve told me his boss has a 1 hour min policy. I paid the guy thousands over the years without questioning him or his integrity, but this? this made me wander. And so it happen that a Turbo that Steve replaced failed 3 months later under warranty. And this is when I discovered that Steve charged me for a remanufactured turbo $2983.39 when the same part cost me at my dealer $1700. I'm sure Steve dealer prices are as good as mine if not better. I understand markup as well. We all got to make a living. but to make almost $1300 in markup on a loyal customer? Just because I put my trust in them and didn't call my dealer to compare prices? What do I need to make from all the prior charges I paid in the thousand and thousand? Shame on you ATS. Shame on you Steve. You lost my business forever. Not to mentioned how you hurt my feeling with your thievery. How many time you invoiced me in the thousands and I mailed you a check promptly? We are honest people trying to make a buck in this shi*y industry. I guess we live and learn...
