On a Saturday afternoon with no real opening for me, they put my car up on a rack and figured out exactly what was wrong with it. Everyone was really nice and really helpful. And here's the zinger, they did this for free. Just really a great place to find when I was having an automotive emergency.

I highly advize not going to Antich Automotive. They had my car for 18 days + another 5 days. They consistently told me they didn't know what was wrong. While they knew I was paying for a rental. I took my car to Mid City on Monday and it was fixed in less than 2 days and for less than $600. Antich has charged me to get a new dip stick that they had lost. They blamed the screws being stripped in my door on another auto mechanic. Keep in mind: I am the only owner of my car and Antich is the only mechanic who has ever touched it. They charged me $1650 for spark plugs and an oil pack that didn't fix the problem. They started a valve adjustment they didn't finish. Unfortunately, after 9 years of loyalty to Antich I want to warn Humboldt to not go there. ❤️

I 100% recommend this place! A different mechanic in Arcata told me I needed some belt work done and I came to Antich just to be sure and they told me I didn't need my belts done yet. I appreciate the honesty and time they took to look at my old piece of junk car. They didn't charge me a dime and gave me some great recommendations on different used car dealerships. Great business, genuine people and amazing owners!!

I am only going to post facts. I took my car to Antich Auto in Eureka to diagnose and repair. My car was wobbling and vibrating when idling at a stoplight. I wanted to know why. They had my car in the shop for a week and two days. They called me and told me that the axles in the front needed to be replaced. They told me that the job would cost $1,700. I told them I did not want to pay for that job oh, because I didn't have the money at the time. I got my car back and they charged me over $400 for diagnosing the vehicle. About a couple months later I took my car to Central Avenue service in McKinleyville. They replace the axles in less than 6 hours and called me to pick up the vehicle. The repair cost me $648. I will never go to antich auto again.

I am from out of town and on my trip I had an oil leak. I found Antich and they immediately found and fixed the problem for a fair price. They were very friendly and treated me as one of their own. Very pleased with their service. It is not always easy to find.
