Can't say enough; not just great mechanical work, they also have a QC program to inspect their own work. Not something you see in most shops. Had my RV there for days and the owners, Lisa and Ken, were very hospitable, letting me stay in my rig at night. Very pleased with the repairs and the customer service. Highly recommend.

We were traveling from the state of Washington through California to Arizona pulling a fifth wheel trailer with a 3/4 ton diesel truck. As we were going through Bakersfield our truck started having issues. We pulled into flying J truck stop. Long story short. We saw the ad for Myers Diesel repair. We called and Lisa talked to us and said they would get us in on Sat. The owners Ken and Lisa went above and beyond anything that could be expected of a repair shop. They towed our RV, to their shop, and very kindly told us we could stay on their lot until the truck was ready. They even took us grocery shopping!! The whole staff treated us with kindness. They did a wonderful job on our truck and got us back on the road. Our many thanks to Ken and Lisa for turning our nightmare travel experience into one we will remember with gratitude.

An unfortunate turn of events caused us to desperately seek emergency repairs for our diesel pusher coach. We were stranded in Buttonwillow. Was referred by Gene's and they were a God send to us. It was 5:05 pm and we were concerned wouldn't find anything until the morning, and on a Friday before a holiday weekend at that. Thankfully, they are a 24 hour service. We had a coolant hose that burst. Not a major fix, but enough to stop you in your tracks. Yes, you will pay a minimum 2 hour fee, but that was to be expected. Very polite and helpful dispatcher. Kept in good communication until the very end to check in after the mechanic left. Considering the 2 hour minimum, parts and 10 gallons of coolant the price wasn't out of line. We were back on the road 3 hours later. Saved at least a day out of our vacation. If you're ever near Bakersfield and need a 24 hour repair service Remember Myers. It'll cost you, but it'll save you. 😊

We took our truck into the shop because it was consuming antifreeze in July 2017. The repair was done (head and camshaft along with a few other things), however when the truck was completed the ground wire to the headlight was broken and an AC bracket was missing when we went to pick it up. Also there was oil dripping from the remanufactured turbo we sent. I contacted Chris and he said he would send someone in and would "zip tie or something" to replace the missing A/C bracket and fix the ground wire issue. Our driver pulled the dip stick and there was pressure in the oil pan. My driver informed the mechanic who came to repair the broken wire and fix A/C missing bracket. The mechanic "diagnosed" the problem and said the turbo was faulty. Myers Diesel removed the turbo and we had it rebuilt by the company we purchased it from. Myers Diesel was kind enough to drive our driver to and from the car rental location. When Myers Diesel replaced the turbo and the same issue occurred with pressure in the oil pan. My driver checked the oil and it again had back pressure. He informed Chris of pressure in the oil pan and they removed the crank case filter. The back pressure issue stopped and the oil quit leaking out of the turbo. They orgianlly were going to charge us over $1,100 to swap turbos. I spoke with Chris and he said the mechanic who "diagnosed" and repaired the broken ground wire the previous night "didn't speak English" and since he "wasn't there" Chris could not do much. Chris said if would have know about the pressure in the oil pan he would have addressed the issues sooner. Chris said he would take "two hours" labor off the bill. Abel the "General Manager" said he would only do one and a half hours. I attempted to discuss the issue with the bill but Abel said "I don't discuss the bills, I just collect the money." We paid the bill so we could get on the road. When my driver was doing his pre-trip there was antifreeze leaking from the radiator. He informed Chris about the leak and Chris said "he didn't do it" since it was only "a couple of bolts." Also my driver informed me the truck will not hold window washer fuild. I attempted to call Lisa at Myers Diesel, however she was out of town until October 30, 2017.
