Rick and Brian took excellent care of us. My wife and I just moved to Paso Robles and I was looking for a shop to take our Audi 6. Rick and Brian treated us like we’ve been their long term customer. Rick’s German Performance has earned my trust fir future needs plus I’m taking my F150 there as well.

Rick and Brian took a bad situation and turned it into an excellent experience. They did not rush me out the door but took all the time that they needed to get to the bottom of a tough diagnoses. I was so impressed with their thorough diagnosis that I knew that their recommendation was the best thing I could do for my car and peace of mind. Rick even provided my wife with his own car as a loaner while ours was in his shop. Rick is very empathetic to his customers and provided me with the best possible service and was mindful of the price. I cannot speak highly enough of their service.

You know your off to a good start when two other shops refer you to the same shop. From the time I walked in the door to the time my car was done Rick's made me feel like I was there most important customer. I came in to have them diagnose what abs sensor I needed to replace. 3 other shops quoted me $100 to $125 just to diagnose. Rick's not only did it in half the time for half the price they found the real problem and saved me even more. They made a repeat customer out of me. Thanks guys

Have had major repairs done here 3 times. They communicate clearly. This last time, there was an elbow joint that disintegrated when they removed a part to get at another area. They could have just replaced the whole part, but they went out of their way to go just get the elbow replaced, saving us over $100. Totally trust these guys!

This is the best auto shop I have ever experienced! I was on my way to the Bay Area from Santa Barbara and a few miles south of Rick's my car broke down (oil pressure was low and the engine lights where flashing telling me to stop). I googled "VW repair shop near me". Rick's was the first to come up and it was close so I was able to drive there. Bryan immediately checked out my car, explained what was wrong and said they would potentially need to keep it overnight. But he knew I was just passing through town and so he said he would try and fix it as soon as possible! They worked on it straight away and were able to fix it for me immediately. He even offered to call the place I had gotten my oil changed at the day before (who broke my oil cap and caused the engine to be drained of oil immediately which was why my engine light had come on) to help me get my money back! All in all such a positive experience, everyone who works there is incredibly nice. If I lived in Atascadero I would be a life long customer!!!
