I had the pleasure of working with MJM Engines recently. I have a 1956 Ford F100 that I have had for over 25 years. My 302 engine had just worn out and needed a rebuild. I shopped around and likes the price MJM Engines offered. I contacted them and made arrangements for them to come to my house in Oceanside to pick up my engine after I removed it from the truck. They were very professional but friendly, like we have been friends for years. I think one the things I liked best about MJM Engines is that they didn't treat me like I'm an idiot like a couple of other shops did. I would definitely recommend MJM Engines and if I ever need another engine re-built, they are my shop.

Had the unfortunate experience of needing an engine rebuild. They had a very competitive base price on the rebuild. They do all their own work and machining of engine. Of course there were some additions, but that is expected when something so broad is undertaken. Good communication. Dealt fairly. Worked expeditiously. Did what they said and gave a decent warranty. I'm satisfied. Def recommend. Hope I get some miles for the investment.

Amazing shop and customer service! So can service any vehicle from daily driver, service fleet to racing applications. They are second to none and are highly recommended.

I've had issue after issue with my rebuild. They certainly do honor the warranty, I'd say they go above and beyond.

Brought my 73 nova with a SBC 350 in for a rebuild. Provided aftermarket aluminum heads and wanted a bigger cam. Initially, they ended up removing the camshaft upgrade from the build. After some phone calls they said they would do the camshaft upgrade I initially wanted. I did have to call a few times for updates. But in the end, they did get the build done the way I wanted. I would say these guys specialize in stock rebuilds. But the warranty provides a very nice warm and fuzzy about their work. My advice when wanting a rebuilt engine would be, is to be very specific with any engine shop you go to. So far these guys did do a good job overall. And their customer service is fairly good. As long as you communicate with them about what you want done and be very specific.
