Unlike most of the reviews on here that could only have come either, from people who are friends or family of the owners. Or simply got lucky dealing with this outfit. I will tell you the truth. First of all. To anyone that would call Tim honest is out of their mind. The guy won't even look you in the eye when he speaks. As if everything coming out of his mouth makes him feel guilty. Although he does seem knowledgeable. Knowledge however doesn't mean anything if it's not paired with craftsmanship. Yes, they do give a military discount. But again, it doesn't do you any good if they're ripping you off in the long run. Don't get me started on Paul. Luckily that moron doesn't work there anymore. Long story short. After reading the stellar reviews(which I now know to be largely untrustworthy) I brought my truck into them for injectors and the whole bulletproof deal. lo and behold after a month and a half of my truck being in the shop and $16000 (yes, I said $16,000) later, I got it back. Less than 2 weeks after that, my engine blew. And in a gloriously embarrassing cloud of white smoke in the middle of the highway I might add. Tim tried to tell me that one of my "new" injectors "cracked" and overheated the cylinder and that's why the cylinder and head were damaged. But instead of taking responsibility and making sure that my vehicle was repaired the way it should have been, and in a timely manner, they decided to send it to the local Ford dealership to try and shirk the responsibility off on them. After that plan failed. They brought my truck back to their shop and continued to string me along for several months before Tim finally telling me "we'll just fix the motor ourselves". "We will do a complete rebuild on that for you to make sure that it gets done right". Meanwhile I am not being communicated with at all from anybody down there. I had to call them myself (every month or so) to try and find out what was going on. And every time I did call all I got was excuses. "Oh, I'm having sugery". "Oh we are waiting for parts". "Oh I'm paying for the repairs out of my own pocket(except we'll need another $1,000 for machine work) to make sure we get it done right for you. So it's taking a little while longer than we expected". This all started the middle of August of 2016. I finally got my truck back (supposedly with a completely rebuilt engine) the last week of March the following year. The conclusion? After several months, $17,000 dollars!!, And an alleged rebuild. The truck Burns a quart of oil to a half tank of fuel. The fuel mileage has gotten so bad I can hardly afford to drive it. It also leaks oil from one of the components that was supposedly replaced during the initial repair. And I'm constantly getting check engine lights, and it idles rough intermittently almost to the point of stall. I've had it back in there since. They said they did a diagnostic. And I quote "A less invasive inspection" and everything was "A ok". I find that hard to believe considering my truck never left their front parking lot during the three days that it was at their shop. I am a retired ARMY diesel mechanic. I'm not an idiot. I am however disabled. Otherwise I would have done the repairs myself. Unfortunately I brought my vehicle to these people. Huge, Expensive, Stressful, and very depressing mistake. By the way, they seem have a new name (although same management) up on their sign out front.(probably not the first time for that either. Can't imagine why) I am not the only, and certainly not the first customer that has been burned by these people. I have only seen one other review about them that was as unsatisfied as mine. I have lived in the area for over 20 years. And I have managed to find out(unfortunately too late) that they have a bad reputation outside of Google review. But somehow they stay under the radar. The moral to the story is, Do NOT trust your vehicle to T & A performance. You'd be better off taking your vehicle to the tire care center at Walmart.
