Very professional and trustworthy auto service center. I went to West Coast as a referral from a friend. I had an a/c repair done and it in fact has never operated this well before! I am now a new permanent customer!

I had been to this place once before to get a flat fixed. They charged me $20 which was fair and I was impressed by how friendly everyone was so I came back when I had a problem with a noise in the front end. I am not a gearhead by any means but I suspected it was the brakes making the noise. They took a look at it and said my front brakes were ok but the back brakes needed some work. Had them do the work and picked up the car. It was still making the same noise and it was getting worse. Brought the car back here and, after waiting a while, Thong, the owner, told me that both front wheel bearings were bad and would need to be replaced. It would normally cost $1000 but he could do it for $800. I looked up "wheel bearings" on google and found that they normally have a life of 100,000 to 150,000 miles. My car has 55,000 miles on it. Thought something weird was going on. I took my car to a place in San Clemente recommended by my daughter. They said my front brakes were worn down metal to metal and that's what was maiking the noise. They fixed the brakes for $400 and told me there was nothing at all wrong with the wheel bearings, The car runs great , no front end noise and the brakes work fine. Did West Coast Tire set me up for a rip off with a BS story about wheel bearings, or do they just do sloppy work and take a wild ass guess at what the problem is? Obviously they did not look at my front brakes or they would have seen the mess they were in. Will not be coming back here.

These guys came through when no one else would on a important but simple fix. They got my respect and my business from now on.
