Had an issue with a flat tire and 2 bolts cross-threaded and broke off. Took my car into Pete's and Kyle got me going right away. VERY Professional and most importantly, straight shooter on what I needed. Best thing is all these guys got to working on my car right away. Amazing customer service and very very fair pricing for getting me going again. Was on vacation with family. Went to breakfast while they did the work and got a call that it was done before we finished eating. First class, locally owned, Thanks again!

Rude customer service and very over priced. I've talked to several auto shops about getting my vehicle serviced and this guy was the worst. He wouldn't answer my one question saying he didn't have time. It was a very easy fast answer that I got from another shop withing 3 minutes. Beware who you trust to do your car work. Everything I was going to get done only cost me a quarter of the price this place would have.

This review is about rude customer service! As far as I hear from locals the mechanics are awesome! It was not mechanics, but the owner Kevin that was very rude and unprofessional. On our 18th anniversary trip to Morro Bay, Awaiting our purchase of a new car, we decided to borrow my brothers truck. Looking back we should have probably rented a car, but nevertheless we did. Wouldn’t you know it the truck broke down on theway to the San Luis Obispo farmers market on Highway 1. Upon recommendation from the local tow truck company we decided to tow it to Pete’s. I left the keys in the dropbox in an envelope that night and waited for the call in the morning to see if something could be done. I did get a phone call in the morning about five minutes after they opened. It was Kevin the owner. He did not start the conversation off with an estimate or an Explanation of what was wrong with the truck, but rudely asked if the truck was mine. He then told me that I had to remove the truck from his property. Of course I had AAA and removed the vehicle that day, but even after I showed up in person and asked him how much it might cost to replace the engine he answered, while on the phone by the way, “ probably $10,000 “!?!? For a 1997 Chevy Silverado??? At the end of the day, I know we made a bad decision on taking a old truck that far but to be treated like a second rate citizen doesn’t make sense. Especially for such a nice tourist town.

We were in town on vacation and needed a tire repaired from running over a nail on the highway. After looking at reviews and getting a recommendation from a friend we ended up at Pete's, and so thankful we did. They were helpful, attentive, and very nice! If you're in need while passing through or looking for a regular tire shop, Pete's Morro Bay Tires is the place to go!
