Very nice guys. Fast & excellent service. Prices for the work they charge are much lower than any other place I have gone to in the past. I love how fast they fixed my car and I appreciate them telling me specifically what work they did. Will always come back here for any future service I may need.

This auto shop is amazing! I love how fast the service is and the quality of the mechanics work is amazing. I will always trust and go to LT first!

Buyer Beware!! Their business plan seems to revolve around doing these "inspections" on every vehicle that comes in, then they try to charge you for a 1/2 Hour of labor to do the inspection, which you never requested. Then they come up with a list of things they say the vehicle needs and quote "crazy" high prices for the work to be done. Here is the story.... I have used LT Auto a few times in the past. They were recommended a few years ago to install a Dual Exhaust on my GMC Pick Up. They installed the exhaust and I was pleased. Fast forward to last month. I had a noise in the front of my vehicle and what looked to be an oil leak. So I took it in and they diagnosed a water pump and an oil leak from a valve cover gasket and a gasket in the engine oil cooler. I am a busy person so I said fix it... and $1334.00 later it was fixed. Shortly after I had this done I had a strong smell of exhaust in the vehicle. I climbed underneath the truck and quickly diagnosed that it was leaking where 2 of the exhaust pipes connect. I called LT and said I have an exhaust leak that I need fixed. They said bring it in between 8 and 9 AM tomorrow and we will take a look. So I did. I didn't hear anything from them all day, so at around 4PM I stopped in. And the truck hadn't even been looked at.. I asked why you needed it so early if you haven't even looked at it!! The lady at the desk said she doesn't control when they look at the vehicle. This upset me for 2 reasons, one you shouldn't tell someone a time and then say you don't control the times, and 2 I knew the repair was not going to be completed, because they close at 5. I returned to the shop right before 5 and the counter lady proceeded to give me this huge list of what's wrong with my truck... When she got to the end of the list I asked about the exhaust leak (What I brought it in there in the first place for!!). And I was told they didn't find anything and that if you do the other work it would probably fix the problem, a whole bunch of BULL! They said my Transmission Pan Gasket was leaking and quoted me $481.00 to replace the Transmission Fluid and Filter, $481!! This is a $100 Service at any Transmission Shop, lower with a coupon!! $323 of Labor alone to do a Transmission Service, that's a joke!! (I attached the estimate below). Then they said the rear differential Pinion bearing has excessive play and should be replaced. I took the vehicle to an A1 recommended transmission shop, they said the pinion bearing is fine and the transmission pan was not leaking. I had the transmission shop do the Fluid and filter change, it cost me $129.00. I want a service shop I can trust and know that the work they are quoting needs to be done and it is quoted at a fair price. I find LT Automotive to be untrustworthy and their prices are no where near reasonable. There are better, more deserving auto repair shops in Reno.

Said they knew about Sprinters. Touted that they had a computer for diagnostics just like Mercedes. Approached our business because they worked on Sprinters. Turned out they were unable to diagnose the issue. David still charged us for diagnosing because he "made several phone calls to other shops." It is possible they just don't know what they are doing over there unless its an oil change, changing windshield wipers and replacing parts. As terrible as BMW has been over the years, when they were unable to diagnose an issue, they gave us our money back.

The people are nice and knowledgeable. They work here- I didn’t witness lallygagging. My 11 year exhaust system was rusted bad. They got to me about 2:00 but when I called earlier they said be at the shop at 1:00. Luckily I was off work with nothing to do. I’d come back here again.
