I went to Anderson for a emission test. I did not know there is a law in Colorado that they cannot pass you for an emission test with a check engine light. The check engine light was on but for something completely unrelated to emissionson. So rather than tell me the check engine light was on they went ahead and did the test knowing in advance that it would fail. charged me $65 and then expect me to come back and pay for another test after we get the the check engine light fixe. They are Crooks plain and simple

Kurt is the best!! We have been customers for nearly twenty years and Andersen has serviced our Volvos, Mercedes, BMWs and MINIs, both gas and diesel, for minor and major repairs. It’s hard to find an honest shop but Andersen is the real deal! Always timely, reasonably priced and up-front. I will only have my cars serviced here.

Diesel emissions test is the reason for my yearly visit. The gal that runs it is very knowledgeable

I have been a customer for a few years. I had been satisfied with the service which consisted of oil changes and routine maintenance. While this work took considerable longer (3 days for an oil change that I had scheduled 2 weeks in advance) I felt that they were honest and reasonably priced. However, recently I was in a moderate car accident and sent my Mercedes to them to be diagnosed and repaired after the engine cut off. After 3 weeks they have no idea what is wrong and all they have accomplished is removing the oil pan to look inside the engine and checking it for computer errors. I never got updates unless I called and just happened to catch somebody in the office. They kept telling me that they were behind and very busy, which if you have ever seen their lot, you would understand but 3 weeks to tell me they have no idea what is wrong with my car is completely unacceptable! When I'm asked to shell out 12k for a new engine I would like more explanation than "I'm guessing its something to do with the timing system". Especially when they performed a maintenance inspection 2 weeks prior. To make matters worse they would not cooperate with my insurance company. If they had been honest about the time frame and the mere lack of urgency (or interest) in fixing my car I would have understood and sent it somewhere else, which I ended up doing anyway. I sent it to Platinum Auto Service and it looks like they're my new shop.

A few months ago, I discovered a gas leak that appeared to be around the gas tank of my 2005 E55 AMG Mercedes. I ordered this car in 2004 ... it's my all time favorite car. I had the car towed to Andersen's in Golden. A couple of days later I get a call from Kurt Andersen. They had inspected the car and found the leak. Before proceeding with the work, they checked for any outstanding recalls on my car and, amazingly, found an open recall campaign that had been issued on my car years ago. I had never received any notice of the recall. Kurt called Mercedes of Denver to verify that the recall was valid. To make a long story short, Mercedes covered over $2,000 in parts and labor... Anderson could have easily made the repairs and charged me. But, they didn't ... they took the extra step for the customer. I sum this all up in one word "INTEGRITY". A rare commodity in many businesses today. Thank you to Andersen's.
