I took my car here in hopes of being able to get work done. Unfortunately it was just smarter for me to purchase a new vehicle. However, i am very happy with the help i got from the owner, Jim, here at Macs. He was very kind, honest, and i genuinely felt like i could trust him. His prices were fair, and he made me feel like my concerns were a priority of his. The rest of the staff that i interacted with was friendly as well. If i need any work done in the future, this will be the first place i call.

Great place. I was referred to them by Belardinelli Tire in Bethel who says they take their cars to Mac's for Transmission work. I was having trouble with the automatic transmission shifting hard and I was convinced I needed a new transmission on my 158k mile 2006 Jeep Commander. It turns out it was just 3 different sensors that needed to be replaced. Now, no more transmission issues, the idle is smooth, and the cost was about 70% less than what I was expecting. I brought my car back to fix the A/C that had a leak, again cheaper than I was told at other places. Jim at Mac's is my go-to place going forward.

Checked over my car without charging and was very happy with the work that I ended up needing. I was looking for someone that wouldn't push for fixes that weren't needed and chose this place based on other reviews here. I'll definitely be taking my car back here in the future.
