This shop will drain you for every penny AND more! They will tell you one price and when you pick it up don't be surprised it your price doubles. Not only that but you will have to take it to another shop to fix the work that they say they fixed! They left loose body mounts, when attempting to do an EGR and DPF delete they screwed up the computer in truck When you ask Tony (owner) why price doubled from quote he will get loud and try to intimidate and bully you. Save yourself headache and your wallet, GO ANYWHERE else.

Everytime I've ever come to "the shop" it is excuse after excuse as to them being too busy or employees calling out etc. 1st I set an appointment with them to drop off my jeep and have the bedliner done. They then turned me away when I came on said day with a friend to drive me home... wasting all of our time. So I came on another date, dropped off the jeep (trying to have it done before jeep beach event coming soon) and was told it'd be done within the week. I call them more than 10 times throughout the week to ask for an update and I'm always told the excuses again and that they will call me back with an update... I not once received a call back. Therefore I just assumed their getting it done when a week passes and an employee tells me it'll be ready to pick up in another week.. So once again I wait. I call them on the 2nd week and ask if it's ready. . . Turns out they DIDN'T EVEN START! I WASTED MY TIME AND EFFORT! left my jeep with them for 2 weeks and they did nothing! And didn't bother to tell me that they did nothing until now.. Ultimately I'm going to get it tommorrow and never bringing it back. Tried to give them a million and one chances and they blew every single one. Very unsatisfied and pissed that I wasted my time right before jeep beach with their excuses.

Question. I have a 2008 Ford Crown Vic that is missing badly. I have been throwing money at this car. I need to get it fixed. I live in Deland and just happened to stumble upon your site. Read the reviews. If i brought it there would it be an arm and a leg to fix?

We took our old Jeep CJ7 to The Shop based on a recommendation. We were doing a V8 swap and were told they did custom jobs and specialize with Jeep V8 conversions... I brought them the Jeep, a brand new GM crate motor and several other components. That is where the train left the tracks.... The work was promised in 6-8 weeks. It took 6 months. The original quoted price was $3,500-$4,000 and ended up at $8,200 plus the $750 for "warranty work" Update:: After 3 trips back to this place for "warranty work", it is still not right. I finally took it to a real shop that found and continues to find so many more problems with the original work that was done by The Shop of Deland. I has cost me thousands of dollars to fix the mess and safety problems they created!!! Avoid getting into the same situation with them! Communication with them is horrible and there's ALWAYS an excuse as to why they are not in the wrong or why the bill is not as originally quoted. AVIOD THE HEADACHES!

Car repairs are costly and annoying to say the least. However, Randy and Kristen always seem to make the best of every situation brought to them by me and my company. The price is good and the service is the best.
