I bought a 2002 Honda Civic a while back and then i found out it had a blown head gasket. I looked around for the cost to fix it. Honda dealership quoted me $3000 and another mechanic $2500. The estimated completion date was 5-7 days. A friend recommended me to them and they not only cut the cost of Honda’s quote in half but had it fixed in 3 days. These gentlemen are the definition of businessmen. After getting to know max and mark i learned that they’re not in the business of scheming people. They know they’re the best on island and i can see why. They take pride in their work and abilities to put out quality work for the best price. These gentlemen have helped me immensely with keeping my car running in tip top shape. There is literally nothing these gentlemen can’t do with a car. Body work, engine work, safety inspects, you name it these are hands down your go to guys for anything with 4 wheels and an engine. Me and my friends have never had a bad experience with them and if you do have a bad experience with them you probably deserved it. Hats off to mark and max.

I spent about $100 to diagnose the horn and gas meter to see why it is working and almost another $100 to replace the wire of the horn. They said, they will tell me what exactly problem of the horn. Good thing is the horn is working now. However, it does not stop when i hit it a bit harder on the horn although I turned off the engine. When I call them back they said, “ thats a different problem” and refused to recheck for us. If we bring there to check the horn again then we have to pay another amount for the diagnose. I dont think this place is worth 5 stars for the service. Since I want to sell this car. Its only worth more than $2000. I just put in $200 for the horn. If I have to put in another $600 as “quoted” in the car just to fix the gas meter. How much can sell this car for? Meanwhile, the car mileage on the screen is still working to calculate the gas. I will tell the next owner of this car about the problem. If you are willing to fix it for them I will be happy to remove this review.

On vacation in HI, visiting my grandma, I borrow her car to run errands and notice she needed some maintenance done. I found Mark's through a quick google search, and to my surprise uncovered a hidden auto shop gem. Very clean and professional service, honest and modest reps, and a happy grandma!
