Not good on customer service, told us two different prices even didn't accept the free tow. Look for the fine print!

Good work and great for diagnosis. The only problem I have had was recently I had the transmission on my car overhauled. After getting it back the 1st time the trans was hard to shift. So after the break in period of 700 miles I took the car back to get it adjusted because I had to man handle it into reverse. Said it wasn't the trans but instead was the shiftier pins and replaced it. Still a little hard but with new parts that's expected. Pops out of reverse on occasion too. Now we get to why I gave them a 3 and not a better review. The first time i got it back the shift boot was not fitted correctly and torn a little. I brushed this off and fixed it up myself when i got home. When i got it back the second time the shift boot was torn worse now to the point i have to replace for it to fit right. their was a insulator type boot and installation that was not reinstalled. The siding on my center console was popped away and not put back into place on the driver side.. As well as a side carpet panel down by your feet on my passenger side is gone. Not falling off, not laying around (was loose when taken in but still there) but gone. Checked prices online the insulator boot is 50 bucks a new shiftier boot is 24-50 bucks I don't know what I'm going to do about the missing panel. The center console prob just some TLC and some new double sided tape should fix it but after spending close to six grand for the trans i expect nicer clean up and my interior not to be tore up. ALSO my car stock has an annoying skip shift. long before i had the trans fixed I installed a skip shift eliminator. After i got it back the annoying skip shift was back. I figure Ok maybe they forgot it or took it off for one reason or another and therefore ordered another one to fix the annoying skip shift. When i went to install it however it was there and connected to the wrong connector. Instead of being connected to my skip shift if was connected to what i believe is my reverse lockout. You know the solenoid that keeps you from shifting into reverse past a certain speed on a manual transmission. Good thing I noticed that and never slipped up during those thousand miles i drove it like that. To make it more unsettling you get NO warranties simply because its a manual. Other then that Phil is knowledgeable and very good with body work, decent prices, and so far the other work on the other cars we have taken their haven't had much of a problem. Maybe it's the transmission guy in particular, I don't know if it was result of a bad day or what happened but the car is my baby and I'm not happy to see it returned with things missing and broke.

Mixed feelings about this place.. First time i did business with them they did a wonderful job A+ service. Second time was awful. The transmission they installed had issues the next day. Phil would not honor their work..
