I have been Andy’s customer for not so long. Just about five years. My 2003 Honda, before I met with Andy, took me to a couple of mechanics/providers in NE Philly in a period of one year. New to Philadelphia as also to USA then, I experienced that many mechanics/providers found it okay to treat me differentially. For instance, many would make me wait longer than fellow customers because they figured out that I was not just accustomed enough to speak out. Some would not consider it necessary to explain to me what the money was charged for, while some others thought it okay to be rude. The year before I met Andy, my car for some reasons, needed too many treatments and it was really frustrating. In retrospect, I realize that the car's actual concerns were rarely addressed. I needed someone who I could trust, who knew exactly what my car needed and who treated me with respect. Andy was an exact answer to all my needs. Now some basics: 1. A business is a business and one of the essential tenets is a motive to earn profit, which is earned as an exchange to the services or goods provided. Andy does that with dignity. He is not arbitrary and takes from you after he gives and does not take disproportionately compared to what he gives. 2. In a free market economy, there is a functional principle that warns the consumer: Caveat Emptor, which precisely means “buyer Beware.” Once with Andy, my need to exercise this principle is obviated. He is worthy of trust. Andy has, in an occasion in the past rushed to my apartment on my request to fix a flat tire. He has always distinguished between normal car servicing needs and the rapid response needed when a customer is in an emergency like situation. In one occasion, I was going to pick up my daughter in Joseph Brown and midway, I realized that one of my tires did not have sufficient pressure. I had very little time; I drove to his shop which is on the way and he understood my urgency. A nail had gotten into my tire, which he immediately fixed. I picked my daughter on time. We need not just doctors in an emergency, we need mechanics too. In my experience, there is not just an efficient service here, but a service with a humane touch. By writing quite a long review, I am not trying to chronicle a hagiography of a friend and if this review benefits Andy in any way, that shall only be a collateral benefit or just a byproduct of something primary. I actually, want to reach out to anyone out there who is as frustrated as I was, about five years ago but have not come across a service provider deserving your money and trust. I say to you: Go to Andy. And every potential customer, I say the following based on my objective experience: IF YOU ARE NOT A CAR MECHANIC YOURSELF GO TO ANDY.

Never ever ever ever let these ripoffs near your car. They destroyed my rack and pinion steering when I had them install new tie rods, which for those that don’t know connects to the rack and pinion. When I picked up my car I was unable to steer it without using both hands. I went around the block and right back to the garage Andy, the owner told me I needed “an alignment” what a joke. I took the car to two other mechanics, both said I needed a new rack and pinion and that if you are not careful when removing the old tie rods it damages the steering. I had to junk the car and buy a new one. Repairing the steering would cost me approximately $1200.00 They destroyed my car charged me hundreds of dollars and then lied to my face.

Andy is a honest friendly guy. I feel confident when I take my car to believe air that it will be fix and price is right. I also bought a car from Andy and I am thrilled with the auto at a fair price! Pat B.
