Came in for oil change and lube. I had my own oil filters, charged me $300.00. They also did a chassis adjustment that I was told was free. Got 20 miles down the road and as I turned a corner, I heard a pop and the coach stated to lean. Had to return to refix it. The floor in shop was oily and oil dry was tracked in. AND, THAT WAS NOT ALL!!! When I got home, I was running some hdmi cable under the coach, I discovered that not a single grease zerk had been greased. I asked the tech if he lubed it and he said "yes" As I had to leave the next day so I lubed it myself. WHAT A RIPOFF!

We were from out of state, broke down in Oklahoma City. Called one Diesel repair and they were busy, so we called Independent Diesel. They sent a wrecker, brought truck back to the shop. After some time Sam did a diagnosis and stated it was the high pressure oil pump and it would be $4500 to repair. And on a side note the fuel filter cap was broke and leaking fuel, it would be another $50 or so. My husband had been under the hood of the truck prior to having it towed. He was trying if fix the truck and would have noticed if the cap was broke leaking fuel. Mechanic broke himself. Ànyway, back to Independent Diesel diagnosis: I told Sam I already know what a high pressure oil pump would cost $1300- $1400. He was charging $3100-3200 in labor! He confirmed that and stated it was a day's work. We told him to push the truck out of the shop we would have a wrecker pick it up. We had it towed to another shop. SMOKLAHOMA DIESEL AND OFF ROAD. Its a little shop few miles down the road. The mechanic diagnosised the truck as a bad fuel injector. SMOKLAHOMA DIESEL USED FORD PARTS so for a fraction of the quote Independent Diesel gave us; we were on the road the next day. Do Not take your diesel vehicle to Independent Diesel, they are preying on the out state vehicles..i would give them no stars if possible. Read the owners response:: their motto makes NO sense.

I should have read the reviews before taking my truck to this shop . . . DO NOT TRUST THIS PLACE FOR ANY TYPE OF JOB. First job they were supposed to do was a pressure sensor, they charged 5 hours of labor for this, driver left the shop and truck wouldn't go over 55 mph, got to the nearest TA and they discovered the shop never plugged the sensor in . . . they also adjusted the brakes due to the pedal being down to the floor, within 15 miles the pedal slipped back down to the floor . . . Its not often I recommend TA for repairs but they are a huge upgrade over this place. Don't even bother trying to deal Sam- he will just call you a liar and tell you theres nothing he can do to help you
