I read a few bad reviews on here, and I felt that it was important to give my two cents. I have been a customer here for the past 4 years. The service I received was exceptional and I think it is important that when considering a place that you take bad reviews with a grain of salt. Every business has unsatisfied customers, that is a fact (and the bad reviews are more likely to post than the good because satisfied customers move on). It is how the business dealt with the customer that is truly important, and let's just face it, some people can't be pleased no matter what you do. I have had a complete new cooling system installed as well as a very thorough pre-purchase inspection on my next truck. The owner was very informative and never tried to up-sale. He would always explain all of the options and suggest lesser expensive fixes before assuming the worst. People need to remember that auto repair is never an exact science and there is a little trial and error involved just as in the medical field. As much as we just want the straight forward answer, it isn't always possible and any mechanic that tries to tell you that I would question.

Performed machine work on my engine blocm and sold me parts for rebuild kit. THANKS FOR THE HELP!

8 years ago I bought a rebuilt short block. I dropped that in my truck, transferred everything over and it started right up as expected. Can't wait to do it again, only with Grump's. This time I need a 6g72 sohc. Hope they have one. Great work guys. Keep it up.

These guys are fantastic! Parts are right everytime and I get them before I get the chance to check for a tracking number. This is the second engine rebuild kit I have purchased and it is perfect. Call them and tell them what you need and they will help find The solution. I am a very Happy customer! Ceasar Trident Restoration Service

These guys, and Grumpy's Performance and R&G Machine are a bunch of crooks. Scammed me big-time, wish I wasn't so foolish as to fall for the tricks. Purchased a long-block 390 from them, which was little short of a hack-job of used parts. What was $2200 ended up costing over $4000, and it still wasn't what it was advertised. No way I could say enough ill about these guys. Stay away! Read the reviews..and use someone else.
