These men went above and beyond to fix our truck. We can’t thank them enough for what they did. Very honest! Excellent work. Highly recommend them!

I always had a feeling that this shop was up to some shady practices. I've had perfectly running vehicles that were serviced regularly and I.bring my vehicles here and all of a sudden my torque converter is starting to shed. There wasn't even anything wrong to begin with. I wanted a hot flush. happened twice. deja.vu? No its called sabotage then.I.just found out recently this shop completely ruined a transmission by putting the wrong fluid. They won't rebuild or replace their mistake. seriously? I don't recommend anyone bringing their cars here unless you want your car suddenly needing major repairs.

Dan has worked several hours past close to fix my POS truck over the last couple of days. I have nothing but positive things to say about him. I saw that a lot of people are complaining about AAMCO on this page, but I think that those people do not understand the challenges that an auto shop faces on the coast: mechanic staff are limited to a few people, parts can be hard to come by, and most people drive older vehicles out here. Dan's customer service skills could use some work, but that isn't his fault. He's a one man show sometimes, and AAMCO should hire a dedicated customer service person! Otherwise this guy is doing several jobs at once which is quite difficult. If you want good service done right, Dan is the man.

This is place has hurt our family a lot , I wouldn’t trust them.becareful The owner of AAmco Ed You are a thief Stop pretending you care , I gave AAmco another chance like you said .My car is worse than i brought it in on top of it it was dented , they never told me anything until the tow truck showed up, took a pic and went inside to ask about it ,before iwas told oh one of our mechanic run into a pole with it ! really , i ask for insurance info response was oh i know we have insurance but i dont know who the next i called oh i will get back with you with the number . so if you care so deeply is been about a week now why not you call been the owner . so i ask the people on FB in clatsop and surrounding this question. Have any of you ever had problem s with Ammco transmission shop in Astoria share your experience ? I have heard about 6-10 peoples testimonies after bringing their vehicle to them and EVERY single one was BAD! I basically had to Armstrong the guy into fixing the exhaust bolts in the center console cuz I just wouldn't accept it he finally did but it took some arm wrestling LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 2 · 6 hrs Remove They did a good job for me ! LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 6 hrs Remove Get ahold of Bryan Crawford if you want honest mechanic work done at an affordable price. LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 1 · 6 hrs Remove We have a fleet of FedEx vans we take to them. We have had no issues with them. The parking lot is tight and extremely busy. Like · Reply · 1 hr Remove That's because it's called a fleet account and they can charge what they want and do what they want and they just blame it on you drivers when it breaks and they don't fix it properly In the 10 years I've lived here I've not heard anything good. Just two weeks ago I heard an elderly guy on phone going round and round with them. Inept mechanics and scammers must roam about the place.. Do not go to them!!!! They will tell you they will look to get you an estimate. Then when you tell them you will find someone else because they trying to to you on costs, then they tell you it will be $1500 to put your car back together. They suck. Very sketchy place, I was talking to them about rebuilding one of mine in the past, told them the transmission case was broken, they told me it wasn't a problem since they knew people who ran chop shops that could get one. I haven't been back since. LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 3 · 6 hrs Remove l I've seen them quote a job price, and then the extras begin. Price got so wack, a couple ppl lost there , due to the cost being higher than the value of there RV. LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 6 hrs Remove Two crows in seaside is my go to place. They are excellent LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 2 · 6 hrs Remove 3 Replies · 2 hrs I went to look at a car I was prospective on buying. They gave me the keys to a brand new Subaru (wrong car) and told me it was out back. No escort or anything. A dishonest person could have easily driven away. With just that being said I wouldn't have work done there unless you have no other option. LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 6 hrs Remove Yes son talk his pickup over there and they had it for about 6 weeks change his tune up and new transmission and it broke down within 3 days we had to replace the motor Transmissions I don't know what's wrong with it but it's not working anymore LikeShow more reactions · Reply · 1 · 6 hrs Remove They locked my boyfriends keys in his truck (the only key) and he had to pay for a locksmith to open his truck...they didn't even offer to pay for it.
