They did a good and timely job rebuilding the head but had complained about the labor time to adjust the valves. He kept to the quoted price which was better than anyone else. However, when two valves needed to be replaced that I could of bought for $10 each he went ahead without notifying me and bought two at supposedly $45 each. He added $90 to the original quote which made me highly suspect that he marked them up to cover his additional labor cost on the valve adjustment that he complained about being difficult. You be the judge.

I am restoring an old Mercedes-Benz 190SL. I I have been driving by Steve's Precision Machine for over few years. I can't remember first time I went to is shop but i liked him. He is a old-school business man. Anyways, last year I took the engine of my 1960 Mercedes 190SL to him and e start to work on it and rebuild it for me.. He did me a huge favor by accepting my work in his very tight schedule and bigger favor was his price was more than 60% less than his competitors. At the end after I paid him he did not mind to keep the engine for over three months in his shop for me. I do strongly recommend him for any kind of engine rebuild you have. Steve is very professional and precise at his profession. Thank you Steve :-)

Steves Precision Machine has done more than take care of me! they helped get my 2005 subaru sti back on the road. Luke over at that machine shop took care of me when i needed my heads built. 158 miles later, the timing belt tension broke on my motor and bent 4 intake valves. He took my head the day i got it off and got it back to me the next day when i needed it with being on a time crunch. then i stubbornly broke a bolt on my AVCS Module, i called him and he said bring it by. took care of me and got me out the door so i could get back home to get the car back on the road in time for my work schedule. i can't even begin to thank luke enough for everything he has done me. i will more than recommend him to anyone thats looking for any sort of work done to their motors, heads, flywheels. take it to them and they will do more than take care of you!! Experience: 5/5 Stars Customer Service: 5/5 Stars Quality of Work: 5/5 Stars THANK YOU SO MUCH, luke for everything you have done for me!!

I needed a few bearings pressed out of my Mazda rotary engine components and these guys completed the job even though it was not something that they usually do. Thanks to them, I did not need to purchase special tools to complete the job myself and this project was kept within my budget. I am very grateful for this and they earned a lifelong customer.
