World-class incompetence and low integrity. Problems I had when they changed the water pump on my 2008 Tundra. 1) They failed to do a final coolant system pressure check, so that my engine compartment got soaked with spraying antifreeze from a hose clamp they incorrectly reinstalled. If the leak had been any more severe or I hadn't noticed it, it could have fried my engine. 2) When reinstalling the serpentine belt, they actually misrouted it around the pulleys!! This is such an boneheaded move, it took a visit to a Toyota dealer to diagnose it. 3) At the start of the job, they recommended premature replacement of the serpentine belt, which had only a few minor cracks and plenty of life left in it. Even the belt manufacturers will tell you that minor cracking DOES NOT warrant belt replacement. 4) They were planning to use the wrong Toyota antifreeze until I brought it to their attention. In the end, they left me with a serpentine belt (that up to this point had never made a sound) to one that squealed harshly and horribly loud on most startups for up to 30 seconds, and they refused to help provide remedy in any way. Ms. DelCarpine even stated that the squealing wasn't from anything they did wrong, but was because the belt was old and worn out. Absolutely ridiculous, piss-poor integrity. If you're in the market for a shop that will shorten the life of your vehicle by their stupid mistakes, and then leave you hanging in the wind, these are your guys.

Delcarpine has always done an excellent job. They are reasonably priced as compared to what it costs to take our car into Portland for work. They know European model cars inside and out and I would recommend them to anyone who has a Mercedes-Benz or BMW.

Good knowledgeable tech for my BMW 328xi. Regular service plus raised up headlight beams for me. Later I had them change a hydraulic pulley and serpentine belt. I waited on it both times and it was efficient. Fair prices. Thorough help. I found my local shop. Thanks!
