My husband and I were stranded in our Motorcoach while in transit to his deployment to the Middle East. As we are Good Sam’s Club Roadside Assistance members, we contacted (GS) customer service representative at 8:30pm and were advised it would be the next business day before help could arrive. Since it was 32 hours before his flight was due to depart, waiting 12 hours still allowed us plenty of time to make it to Charleston, SC from Pennsylvania. Unfortunately, the first Mobile Mechanic scheduled to assist was a “no call/no show”.... as my husband is a licensed diesel mechanic, he diagnosed our problem, provided All of this information to GS rep...unfortunately, we didn’t have access to a “Spare Alternator” LOL... Doesn’t everyone carry one of those in their vehicle???? ....With the clock ticking (and both our angst and stress level increasing steadily) we again reached out to GS customer service Dept requesting they dispatch another mobile service post haste. Thankfully, we were put in touch with Frank’s Mobile Mechanic service!!! They were absolutely incredible! They kept their time commitment...the cost was very reasonable and the overall service, professionalism and timeliness was exceptional!!! We are gleefully cruising to our destination after what certainly could have been both a personal and professional costly “Life lesson”!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you to the team effort from Frank’s Mobile Mechanic service in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania! We will certainly share our experience with our friends in the RV community and the Good Sam Roadside Assistance corporate office website.
