Smith Automotive Solutions Inc

This place is wonderful! The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. They are always honest and up front and as a woman I feel very comfortable taking my car to them. I highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for honest and reliable service.

Highly recommend this shop, honest and always trying to do the right thing for the customer, they do a FREE inspection on every vehicle that comes in and emails you pictures of what's needs to be fixed now and what can wait until later ! No high pressure selling like at other shops I've been to. Jonathan is a ASE & Honda Master technician and you can tell he really knows what he's talking about and cares about the work his shop does at a fair price. I won't take my vehicles anywhere else.

Great people and excellent service! Took care of my personal and commercial vehicles and worked with my schedule... Love them!

I took my Honda in for an oil change.. They did a complete inspection and found several things that I didn't know needed attention. Great service, very professional and very friendly. Will definitely use them again.

TLDR- Avoid this place. I was directed here by looking at the reviews. I hope this guides those that use google reviews to steer clear. Save your time and money. I scheduled an appointment a week in advance to get my car in and out at 8am. I needed it back by 11am. I didn't get my car back until the following afternoon job incomplete. The morning started off with a ride with the technician. I told them the loud scraping coming from the front of my car was the front left wheel bearing and I needed it replaced. The tech agreed. I asked him to get me a quote for a window regulator as well but that isn't as crucial. I filled out the paperwork and left. I never got a return call for an estimate. I called the shop back at 3pm and they told me they had just gotten it in the air and my front left bearing was fine the rear right one was the one that needed to be repaired. 1 hub assembly just under $500....this a $150 part with an extended warranty. They then told me a window regulator doesn't come as an assembly with a motor. They would have to buy them separate and bill me for two separate repairs another $672 if I wanted to proceed. I told them not to worry about the window regulator, it is not a pressing issue. I again call at 5pm, closing time, to see what progress had been made. They told me they couldn't finish the hub assembly until the morning. Again I call the next day about mid afternoon for an update, this is an hour-hour and half job. They tell me there has been an issue. They said while the bearing in the back was indeed broken, the bearing in the front is the one grinding. I would need to pay another $500 to replace it. Another $500 to replace the wheel bearing I had originally asked to be replaced... Long story short, I wouldn't trust these guys to change my oil. If you're looking for mechanics in the greater Chattanooga area: Top Tech in Cleveland, TN these guys aren't the cheapest but they're straight shooters, they're efficient and timely. I've used them a few times. They've always been reliable. SMA-Sharp Mobile Auto Repair, I've used Euwayne plenty of times over the past few years. Probably the best price point you'll find in the area. And he comes to you. S & S Auto in Chattanooga mid price range point and top notch guys. I feel like they know my wife's car like the back of their hand.
