Broke down in Marathon on way to Big Bend. Car towed to Alpine and dropped at Highland. Spoke to Andon the next morning and had the car diagnosed (Audi A3). A part needed to be ordered which meant an extra day in Far West Texas. As soon as the piece arrived the team at Highland installed and had me on the road again. Drove 6 hours straight back to Austin, no problems. Charged parts and one hour labor. Honest. and great work.

They found us even when Good Sam gave them bad directions, got us running quickly. We followed a local customer that loves them to the shop for a checkup. Whole crew was friendly.

They asked me to move my car twice. Once as to not block a garage bay. The second time I moved it too far. After expressing that this was complicated, the guy behind the desk said, well if you would listen. Unfriendly, rude and disrespectful. Don’t go there. Cassie

My experience at Highland Automotive’s was awful! I regret stepping foot in this establishment! You can tell the employees here do not like there job, the employees and owner are very rude. When searching for a place to just get my car inspected, a friend of mine said this business was the only place in Alpine and even at that he told me to go out of town to another business because he heard, awful, yet truthful reviews of this business. The front desk worker, who was a male, was very rude! I talked to him over the phone before I even went to this business, and from his tone on the phone, I should have known not to go to this business. I should have just went to Presidio in the first place! I walked into the office of Highland Automotive’s and I knew exactly who I was talking to me on the phone because the male worker treated me just as rudely in person as he did on the phone, this employee made me feel as if I was uneducated. He was very sarcastic and aggressive as well. I should have got the hint not to spend my time to go to Highland Automotive’s. The employees have no respect for people and treat there customer with no dignity. They didn’t even look at my car and told me that they didn’t want my business and to leave. Again! I regret stepping foot in this business. Although I didn’t get my car inspected here, I still wanted to pay the 7 dollars to the business so they could buy themselves happiness and kindness. What people say about this automotive place is true, there rude, unprofessional, and make a person feel uncomfortable! It makes me sad because they own a business they should not treat customers like that. I thought I was the only person who felt this way towards this business but nope, most of the community does as well! I should have listened to the friends who told me to avoid this place. I was nervous and scared to get my car inspected after this experience due to the fact, I assumed other automotive places were going to treat me like the employees here at Highland Automotive’s. Unfortunately this Automotive place is the only place that does car inspection in Alpine as of writing , so I left. I traveled to PRESIDIO TX to get my car inspected, best decision ever and the owner of the Rohana’s Automotive Shop in Presidio was super friendly and professional, now I highly recommend him he was awesome, look him up on Google Maps! It’s was worth my time and money to travel to Presidio rather than be treated like garbage by the employees at Highland Automotive’s. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT recommend this place. This place DOES NOT deserve your business! This place DOES NOT even deserve a star.

Everyone was very rude and surly. I will not be going here, and I will advise all my friends to avoid this business.
