Worst repair place EVER! They're either liars or incompetent--probably both. Don't EVER take your big rig to Performance Truck in Beaumont

Good people great service. The guys and gals at PT Beaumont know their stuff, always go above and beyond helping someone to get rolling. They understand the needs of their customer, big or small, and do their best to meet those needs in a friendly manner.

I generally don't take the time to point out what a great job a company does in providing service to its customers. Unfortunately I won't be doing that in this correspondence either. Since 2009 my company has purchased 2 trucks from Performance Truck's Beaumont location. We have also used its service department to service an additional 5 trucks. Since then Performance Truck's lack of "performing" quality and timely service has become increasingly commonplace. Memory often fails me, but over the years I or the people that work for me have never had a overall positive experience in dealing with the service department to say the least. More times than not there has been a problem when sending trucks in needing repair. Currently I have a truck in the shop that is entering its 4th week there. For the first two weeks it sat in the parking lot waiting in what was described as "the line". Then, when it was looked at, it was found to need a injector and harness. The parts were ordered, but then the wrong parts arrived. So now, we are awaiting parts again. I understand that things can and often will happen to cause these types of problems, but it might not be as upsetting if it were not for the take it or leave it attitude displayed by the service department. That said, sitting "in the line" for almost two weeks in itself, is or should be unacceptable. In closing, I am and will continue to replace my fleet over the next year. I did contact the sales manager for information and a quote, to which he was extremely helpful and professional. However, due to the service departments putrid record, we will not be purchasing new Kenworths and certainly not from Performance Truck. I included numerous people in Performance Truck's organization in this email in the hope that someone reading this still cares about their customers and their concerns. With all due respect,
