About the Shop: I been driving 24 years dealing with parts counters. This one was like so many others parts counters that are fresh out of the simplest things. Needed a 50-00162-25 Alternator Belt for a Carrier 7300 X4...simple right ? Wrong..Fresh out..Nobody wants to stock inventory anymore...they'd rather send you away with an "aw shucks I'm fresh out" rather than actually start maintaining some inventory...So I go over to NAPA ...same song and dance....bout that time I remembered Tractor Supply Company one of my favorite stores....and I know FARMERS can't deal with parts counter song and tap dance routines...i shot the bobtail in there....sure as sheist they had a wide assortment of 0.5" V belts...picked out a 38" one (oem was 38.1")..out the door...flew back to Schreiber and threw it on....case closed... Just another reminder that truck parts counters are no friends of the working driver who needs a basic part on the fly....thankfully Tractor Supply came through for me... I like using the wash bay that always comes in handy and I have good opinion of LW drivers ..so Ill add another star...
