Thieves and frauds! I got an inspection there while having a fuel pump replaced and they said there was a $1000 worth of repairs. I took my vehicle to a different place and they only found one small thing wrong $60 lug bolt replaced. Also when I first filled up after they replaced the fuel pump gas sprayed all over the ground under my car. They forgot to hook up a hose to the fuel pump. Incompetent conmen. Edit: When I had this done you did indeed do state inspections. Maybe you have fallen on hard times and can no longer offer them. What I find funny is you attacking me and my reviews instead of being a customer service oriented professional business. I wish you luck you will need it.

Larry's was a life saver! I was in Charlottesville from out of town and had a car emergency. In less than 5 hours, they diagnosed the problem, found the necessary replacement parts and installed everything. They were friendly, professional and very reasonably priced. Overall, an excellent experience!

Great place to take a car! Staff is friendly and willing to help. If you are around the area, I would suggest taking your car.

I have been bringing my cars to Larry’s Auto for the almost 6 years I’ve lived here. My father is a next level gear head, from a family of gear heads, and is usually able to discern exactly the problems I’ve had from my describing symptoms over the phone to him. Unfortunately, he lives on the other side of the continent. Every single time I’ve brought my car to Larry’s, they’ve independently come to the same conclusions, and when I’ve quoted my Father the cost of repair, he’s said that exactly what he’d hope is get as a fair price. They’re super respectful when I try to converse re the problem using this second hand info, never any condescending bc I'm a woman w limited car knowledge. I’ve had one faulty part installed at no fault of L’sA (statistically, that’s just going to happen eventually), and I was really happy with the solution they gave me. I would send anyone here in a second. I’m here writing this review bc the new receptionist I’ve met is A. a great upgrade to their business B. she is AWESOME. Thank you all, I feel very cared for using your service.

While I lived in Virginia, over 4 years, I took my car to Larry's to have parts replaced on 6 occasions and cumulatively over that period had about 15 parts replaced on my 20ish year old car (including the timing belt, water pump, 2 front brake pads, rear brake rotors, V-ribbed belt, spark plugs and wires, 2 front brake hoses, 2 inner tie rods, catalytic converter and gasket, and alternator). I additionally had a few other diagnostics run such as for the emergency blinker switch and the AC. I had zero problems at Larry's. Thanks for your excellent service!
