Sadly, all of the negative reviews about this place are absolutely true. I try not to let the few negative review affect me but I should have listened this time. Do not ever take your cars here. This place is a joke. Please take my advice. So we took our vehicle in for a state inspection and obviously it was rejected for three things. Not a big deal if they knew what they were talking about and weren’t seeking money. First, one of the license plate bulbs was out. They asked for $25 to replace it. I literally just pushed on it a little and it worked perfectly. Makes me think they messed with it after everything else. Second, they stated that the marker/parking lights needed to be replaced and had to be amber. Hmmm. According to the picture, we don’t have parking lights!!!!! Yet they wanted to charge me $55 to replace them??? The amber strip below are our turn signals and flashers and they work perfectly. Also, according to Virginia inspection law, a vehicle is not required to have parking lights. If they do, they must be operational. We don’t have them!! Finally they decided to say that our brakes did not meet standards and that I should replace the rotors as well. They would be happy to do it for us for $400 of course. When I heard that recommendation I had them take the car down. I took it to another place who actually specializes in brakes and they said everything was fine and the brakes are easily good for another year or two. I came back to this location and asked for a refund and explained everything and even that we don’t have marker lights and they denied the refund and decided to flip me off when out of view of the camera. Nice operation you have going here. Like I said, please avoid this place at all cost. They are called honest lol. I actually went there thinking that they had to be since it’s in the name and that would look bad. Good luck!

Wow! Seeing some of these reviews and talking to many people around here has allowed me to see a trend from Honest1 Auto. They nearly always try to tack on some ridiculous repair that is not needed. The business itself is nice inside but the way they do business is dirty. So many people in the area (including me) have had to take their cars to other shops afterwards just to have the other shop say the repairs Honest 1 said needed done were NOT NEEDED! These guys will waste your time and your money. Do yourself, your friends, your loved ones and anyone else a favor by telling them to avoid this ratchet place at all cost!!!!!!

I can't begin to praise the staff at Honest-1 Auto Care. They definitely live up to their name. They're affordable and I love going there to have my vehicle repaired. I recommend anyone that has car problems to take it to Honest-1 Auto Care. I feel like they're family because they really do care.

Clean! I've never been to an auto shop as clean. Mike and the team do it right. Friendly, great work. They take the time to explain everything to you. And even give you little thank you goodies! Best place for auto service in FXBG.

Took vehicle there for an inspection was told it needed about 1200 dollars in repairs. When asking what the issues were and to show them to me they easily got confused and would not explain to me how a small crack in my windshield failed inspection this time but has passed 4 previous years. Took the vehicle to my normal inspection place and passed with no issues. Do not go here
