I came in for just a simple muffler swap, brought my part in, I predicted the cost, I was exactly right, took as long as I thought, same day service. Good enough for me to come back again, other places were not so willing to do a simple job! I could have done it, just didn't have anywhere dry and covered to do it..

Great shop to deal with. Been taking my vehicles there for years now and never had a bad experience. Prices are very fair. All the shop guys are local and the owner (also local) is in there elbow deep in grease right beside them. Recommend this shop to anyone.

Watch out do not take your car there they will price gouge you a simple repair that was 1100 they tried to get us for 1700 until we complained and they used and they use faulty parts because the car was coughing three weeks later and now they won't even talk to us

Brought my excursion in for a exhaust leak, they quoted me $1200 just to replace the gaskets (yes just the gaskets not the whole manifold/header). When looking at the book time only called for 4.8 for BOTH sides. They said they had to get special $133 gaskets I looked up the gaskets online they are $45 and at O'Reillys they are $55. They said 6.8 hours for one side and 5 for the other. Anyway their prices didn't sound right, so i did some shopping around called 5 shops, the next most expensive was only $600 for both sides installed (same gaskets) so i went and picked up my truck to have it fixed anywhere else, when picking it up they charged me $150. $150 just to take a look at it. they had it in the shop for maybe 10 minutes. when calling to tell them i was picking up they where very rude and sounded angry. angry i wouldn't let them take advantage of me, like they do everyone else. SHOP AROUND!! you're better off having it towed to Olympia and fixed for HALF THE PRICE. rip off. terrible place. putting a bad name on "mom and pop" shops. I wouldn't recommend anyone else going there

I am so grateful that I was referred to Dan Hansens Valley Repair. I had my truck at the Ford Dealers Quick lane having some minor work done on it. While speaking with the technicians about the issues I was having with my 2008 6.4 diesel they recommended that I take my truck to Dan’s shop. In their words “he is the Ford diesel truck guy” and to boot they are a family owned and operated shop. I called and they got me in quickly. Jason kept me informed every step of the way with items found in need of repair. After some heavy duty diagnostics and replacement of several faulty parts as well as replacement of damaged parts caused by a shop in Oregon that will remain nameless….. My truck is running like a dream. It can be hard to find a shop that you feel that you can trust to do what they say and I believe they are one of those gems. They have truly earned my business for life. I now refer everyone I know to Dan’s shop.
