Had my diesel truck towed with a fifth wheel attached Into West Coast Diesel, it was late, had been waiting for a tow truck all day. I was tired ,hungry ,I was just plain wore out. West Coast Diesel pulled my truck inside (after hours) and looked at my truck. I was from out of town, no vehicle, so the people at West Coast Diesel let us stay in my 5th wheel, fed me that night, fixed my truck the next day. I wouldn't take my truck anywhere else. The cost to fix my truck was hardly anything like I thought. They are decent people, that care. The shop was clean, and organized, and the technicians took the time to explain everything they were doing. No hidden costs ...They went above and beyond..thanks West Coast... Frank and Shar

I first used this place to get our diesel box truck to pass emissions. They picked it up from our office and got us a pass slip it was great. I was having problems with that truck at a later point and thought I would give them a shot at diagnosing and fixing it. They picked it up under the pretense that it needed to be diagnosed and fixed asap. I called after 3 days of not hearing anything but got no response until about a week after they picked it up. He said the injectors were bad and he had 2 options. 1 get them directly from the local caterpillar dealer and have the truck done in 2 days or 2 save around $400 get them online and wait another week or so. I needed my truck back so I decided to spend the extra money to get it back sooner. He picked up a check for the full amount of the job so that he could get parts etc. I didn't get the truck back for another 2 weeks after that. In that time I called several times. The office lady had no idea what was going on and said she was unauthorized to release the vehicle. To make a very long story short An 8 hour job that I paid extra to expedite took 23 days and cost me a lot of money having to rent trucks.

Lies and BS. He even tried to get me to just give him my rig. Had my truck for 3 months. Ripped out the dash, leaving all the parts just laying on the seat. Then I get a call form the landowner. They've been evicted. I go to tow my rig out and find it trashed. Barely worth scrap. I have nothing good to say about anything or anybody at this lame ripoff shop. Worst shop experience ever. EVER!! At least you can't get ripped off now that they are EVICTED and out of business. ZERO STARS

Scam Artists So July 2nd I took my car to West Coast diesel and Auto. I had previously taken it to Ford and they informed me that I had blown my head gaskets. They were going to charge me $3000. I decided to take it to West Coast Diesel and they gave me a 2nd opinion. They said it would cost me $2400 so I had them do the work. After about 2 weeks they called and said that I needed to pay $1000 for them to continue working on my car. I was hesitant at first about having to pay money before my car was even done but I did. A week after that they called back and said that they sent me heads out to get machined and that I needed to pay another $800. Stupid me I paid the money because I just wanted my car back. I called every week for about 2 months and every time I called they said that they haven’t received my parts back from the machine shop that had them. They wouldn’t even give me the name of the shop that had them. I called multiple times every week and I kept getting the same response. The person I kept talking to is the secretary I guess. She didn’t know anything. Her not knowing anything made it very hard to talk to her so I started getting irritated. Finally towards the end of Sept I called and I demanded to know when they were going to be done with my car and I wanted to know the final price of everything. The secretary told me it would be done that following Tues but that I would have to pay an additional $1900 on top of what they quoted me. I told her she was crazy and that I wasn’t going to pay any additional money over the price they quoted me. She told me that they would just put a lien against my car if I didn’t pay. I demanded to talk to someone else and she wouldn’t connect me to anyone. She refused to give me the owners name. My boyfriend decided to head to the shop to talk to them in person. When he arrived the secretary locked up the shop, jumped in her car and took off almost hitting my boyfriend in the process. So I sent them an email stating that I would be suing them. I stated in the email every RCW that they broke and informed them that I would be notifying the BBB and the State Attorney Generals office. That must have done the trick because the head mechanic finally called and said his secretary didn’t know what she was talking about and yes they had to do additional work to my car but since it wasn’t my fault they wouldn’t charge me. Finally I thought my car was going to be done and I would be able to pick it up. Tues came and it still wasn’t ready to be picked up. I was finally able to pick it up that Thurs. When I showed up the crazy old lady secretary was there and as usual was not very helpful. I paid for my car and left. When I got in my car the inside was covered in grease. They also left me a present in my cup holder…. A USED CONDOM. Yes people there was a used condom sitting in my cup holder. I have never been so disgusted or humiliated in my life. These people are rips offs, scam artists and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!!!!!!!
