If you want actual quality: the fact of the matter is that engines and transmissions need the same parts no matter where you take the equipment. The only difference between shops work and prices are when parts are not replaced. Prices are dropped and purchases are made on price alone. Pacific Torque may not always have the cheapest price. They do always have the best value. I for one would rather pay a little extra for the value and warranty. Thanks for the great work!

I just had a very very very bad experience, Here is the story First truck I have fixed there quote was $5500, $2000 R&R $3200 for new transmission and some shop supply's , after replacement to pay the bill it was over $7500, ok it was fixed I paid and want on with my life, 2nd truck one year later I brought the truck for transmission service and fluid leak repairs, yes I was quoted $1500 to repair leak and do a fluid and filter change, Stive service advisor called me beck about 2 hr, later to inform me that transmission had some shavings in the pan not a good sign, I ask if we don't do leak repairs just to put fluid and filter in so I can get 2-3 months more from this transmission and to set up appointment for me to install new transmission in 2-3 months, Stive said ok and got me a quote for new transmission, Here is the problem New price was without fixing the leak about $1400 for fluid change and finding the leak I don't understand but it was only $68 cheaper than doing all the work I don't know why, Last time about 14 months a go I was charged $350 for just Transmission filter and fluid change at pacific torque with Stive, So I go to pacific tourque next day with my 8 year old son to pay the bill full price over $1500 and arrange for my driver to come and pick the truck up, When I got there Stive was on lunch, and very nice guy come out to help me, so I asked if he can explain the charges on the invoice because I didn't understand if The leak repairs are not performed the invoice would be only $68 less than doing all other repairs to the transmission, and I tried to explain it wouldn't make any sense to invest any more money in this transmission if we are going to put new one in 2-3 months, but Stive make me paying for the fluid leak repairs any ways So I was just about to ask why we couldn't cancel the leak repairs and install new transmission later so I can save some money. In the middle of conversation BAM service manager come out and he started yelling at me in front of my 8 years old son, he was yelling that I have authorized amount and repairs, He sad first pay the bill, get out and never come back, and he was shaking like he wanted to jump over the counter and hit me I couldn't believe what happened, just because I asked the questions unbelievable, so I got up end the conversation with this nice guy I forgot his name want to register payed the bill and left , got a phone number for general manager I called no answer left the message and ask him to call me back, 3 days later no call back, I owe Towing Company and 12 tow trucks, We go thrue transmissions all the time, we need one or two a year, will never come back, I'm just so mad that I gave them my business Never again And if you go there, make sure to pay them the price before they start working on your truck because the final bill is going to be very different from one you was told
