How refreshing to find such a great auto repair shop! I usually dread having my car fixed, but at Countryside, it was actually a great experience: - I walked in shortly after calling (getting the appointment was quick and easy). - They called me the next day with a thorough status update; they had done the routine maintenance that I requested, and completed the tricky electric diagnosis that had was "the real problem." They got my OK to order the dealer parts needed, and gave me an estimate for the total bill. - They completed the work when promised, and my bill was actually less than estimated. The invoice was full of useful notes about the work performed. There was a section that noted recommended future work based on what they had noticed during the work (specific stuff that was great to know), but they did not push me to have that work done. It is a friendly, independent, honest shop. I don't write a lot of online reviews, but I am now because I was really impressed by CSAR. Tabitha the service manager was a pleasure to do business with ... her impressive multitasking skills and positive personality helped turn what could have been an annoying chore into an accomplishment that I was glad to put behind me so easily.

Been in and out for over a year. Thousands of dollars handed over to these turkeys and they give the car back like this after a 2 week stint. The owner disavowed all knowledge and then suggested that we gave it to them in this condition. With mushrooms growing from the seat belt and fuzzy white spores on the carpet.

I am not a fake. I am someone who gave them THREE chances. Two times I took my vehicles and my husband called around after for the same work and told me we were very over charged. While my husband was gone to Japan I took my vehicle in for a third try. My husband told me not to. I got an estimate (which cost me between $60-$80 and was given a list of necessary parts and labor totaling over $600. I picked up my vehicle told them no way, and promptly called four other repair shops. I didn't tell them about my quote from country side so I didn't taint the situation and asked them each what they would charge for the same parts and labor. Under $350 each. I contacted them and left a voice mail with my unhappiness over it and told them I felt ripped off having paid them so much money for an estimate that was clearly double what others cost. No response, not reply, no effort to fix the situation. So now, it goes on google. Again, I am not a fake like the owner would like to say about the others, and I believe the others that gave them a 1 star and others should too. In addition, after telling them I would never return, they waist their money in sending me maintenance update reports. HUGE post cards that clearly cost them a lot of money. Waistful practices, over charges and poor response to customer response. No wonder they have to charge so much to those that they finally get in the door. next time a customer complains, you might want to take the time to do customer rescue, might save your business.

CSAR does great work. Took the wife's car there and it was fixed promptly for a good price. When I spoke to Ken about my pickup truck he was very straight forward and honest with me. I will be using Ken and company for years to come. Thank you.

I was referred to Countryside by a family friend, but apparently its gone way downhill since. Made an appointment a week ahead and when arrived at 8:45am on a Monday Ken (owner) said I was "late" was supposed to be there at 8am. That was never discussed when the appt was made as they had simply said that they opened at 8am. Then he said because I was "late "he wasnt sure if he could get to my vehicle that day. Also, said that his supervisor and a mechanic had just quit so he was short handed. I should have taken all this immediately as a bad sign and taken my rv elsewhere then but instead left my rv for the repairs which I advised him of - brakes and exhaust leak and mentioned needed done by the weekend.(5 business days) He did not say otherwise, he did not advise me at drop off that they charged simply for inspecting for repairs nor provided any estimates for any charges for inspecting for repairs. I did not sign anything either. Tabitha finally called the next day with their "diagnosis", but once again did not provide any estimates for these repairs. She said they would not be able to start the repairs for at least 10 days and could not tell me when they might be completed. In addition they diagnosed several things which were not in need of repair , such as she said the transmission fluid needed changing but this had just been done the week prior at Jiffy Lube. Also that the serpentine belt needed replacing and power steering fluid when Jiffy Lube had just found them ok and had not recommended replacing/servicing at that time. This was a red flag that this place maybe scamming people to have unnecessary work done for things that did not need fixing. When I told her I would just come and get my rv and have the work done elsewhere she then said I owed them $133.47 for their inspection, although they had made no repairs and provided no estimates, had never advised me in advance of their "inspection" charge and also some of their diagnosis was fraudulent as I described above. She also said they charge more for RV's. but once again, this was never disclosed upfront. Also, the brakes and exhaust had nothing to do with it being an RV, simply an E350 van chassis. Took my rv to Les Schwab that same day with no appointment and they did not charge for inspecting for repairs, did not charge more for being an rv and had the brake work done by end of that same day. Lesson learned, steer clear of Countryside as they waste your time and take your money for doing nothing! Would not trust them .
