I seldom write reviews, so when I do you can believe I'm sincere in what I have to say. I have been going to Gaynor's Automotive in Cascade Park for almost 10 years for all my routine maintenance and the minor problems my car has developed along the way. Recently, though, I had a major problem happen which rendered my car inoperable. Being a one-car household and having a disabled spouse who requires medical treatment 3 times a week I was extremely upset with the thought of being without my vehicle for any length of time. To the rescue came the guys at Gaynor's. They diagnosed the problem and ordered the parts on a Monday and had me back on the road the next day. To say I was elated is an understatement. If you're searching for a place to have your car repaired I strongly suggest Gaynor's at Cascade Park. From John, Kevin and the rest of the front desk crew to all the mechanics in the shop, they are a wonderful team. Check them out and see if I'm not right. I know I'm a Gaynor's Cascade Park customer for life.

Not the best experience. I overheard one of the employees talking about taking advantage monetarily of women because they "didn't know their ass from a hole in the ground." I felt, as a woman, as though they would take advantage of me so I made sure to call my husband to have them talk to them to make sure their estimate sounded right. The other thing was he gave me 3 different numbers that I guess he just chose at random because once I actually paid the bill it didn't match ANY of those numbers that he claimed we were being charged - it didn't feel right. I was very unhappy. Also, the belt we paid to have them replace turned out to be fine but they replaced it anyway - and my car STILL is making the sound he told me "is definitely your belt." I will not support this chauvinistic auto repair shop and I encourage you not to either! I'd rate it 0 if I could.

Fantastic!!! The service I received was by far second to none.. admittedly I am a pretty tough customer to please but I believe credit should be given where it’s due and they definitely deserve their praises. John was excellent and i have to say if you are a military family in the Vancouver area they took great care of my family and full heartedly believe they’ll do the same with yours. I had to wait in the waiting room for a couple of hours while I had some fairly substantial work done on my pick up which gave me an opportunity to not only hear how the same customer service I received was given to each customer after me but also the same honest straight forward information given in a way that our generation has seemed to have lost along the way. Long story short, they gained a customer so long as they are in business.

I took my truck to get it fixed and they quoted me $11,000 for a new engine because it smoked when running. I thought it was just fuel but they told me Oh no, it's oil. I put some Stanadyne in the fuel and the problem stopped. I was also quoted four hours to diagnose electrical because some of the lights weren't working. I took it to Meineke and they replaced a fuse for free. Staff were pretentious and insulting. I used to recommend Gaynor's to all my friends. Never again.

Fast and friendly service, and my car was taken back shortly after I arrived for my appointment. The service was $50 cheaper than the dealer before they gave me a discount for having an awesome last name (no relation).
