Excellent service and a great attitude! I've taken our Volvos to Jay's a number of times and have always been pleased with their service! The owner is down to earth and he really cares about customer satisfaction! Keep up the great work Jay!

People Beware!!!! My wife went in because she was having trouble with her battery. They told her she needed a new battery. Nothing wrong with that. However they wanted a considerable amount more than a parts store just down the street and also wanted Approx. $50 to install it. I sent her down to the car parts store and the people there installed it for free. To install it you have to screw on two cables to the post of the battery, a 5 minute job. $50!!!!!!!!!!!!! In addition they charged her $22.28 just to test the battery. When I was in the industry we did that for free. It is extremely simple and takes no time. Shame on Jay's Auto Repair. Greedy, Greedy Greedy! They lost our business for good.

I had a caliper sticking and needed it changed. I going to do it myself but a cold snap came. I had the part and Jay was willing to use that. That is awesome in my book. He also did a full inspection and discovered when it was on the hoist that the bushing on the lower control arm was completely out. With pictures to prove it. (Kinda sad that we need pictures in this day in age, but it's not the 1950's and not all mechanics out there are honest) This was on Thursday and I was going out of state on Saturday. Jay bumped me up on his schedule, worked late, came in early and had it done by 2pm on Friday. I think the service is fantastic and have recommend it to family and friends.

The most qualifed auto repair shop in the state.....! Wrong!! At one point I thought he was the best shop, not! boy was I wrong, don't work for him , he will treat you like dirt ! He won't pay you on time, and when you leave he wont pay you.. I personally know including myself of 4 employees he did not pay.. He claims that we stole from him.. Fact is he stole from me, he still has tools that belong to me.. i told him , keep his money .. ! He's a great lier, and a horrible boss..I recommend you don't work for that jurk!! I'm sorry I did!!

I haven't personally been to many auto repair shops, so my expectations for what I'm looking for are essentially a clean slate. Having said that, I doubt that I would go anywhere else with the excellent service I received from Jay's. I went in for a general tune-up of my car and before any work was done, I was given a quote of what to expect to be charged (which looked more than fair compared to averages I've researched online). My car was expertly worked on and I was given a summary of what was done, which also included their recommendations for what can be worked on, complete with a rating scale describing severity and urgency and also pictures to highlight what was in the summary. I received a paper copy of this and also an e-mail copy. Already satisfied with the work done to my car, I later received a thank you text which was nice to see because all the little things count. It shows to me that Jay cares for his customers -- a fact that I already knew from the way I was courteously treated in the lobby while I waited for my car. All-in-all, Jay's Auto Repair is very thorough and professional with what they do from start to finish. I feel no untrustworthy vibe where I feel like I'm being slimed out of my money with them -- a feeling that some facilities tend to give me. It's important that I trust the people working on my belongings, and Jay's has given me that trust. I'll definitely continue doing business with them.
