I came to this mechanic with a problem with my tailshaft (it was making noises whenever I took it above 2000 rpm). He diagnosed it as a transfer case problem and charged me $1000 for an after-market transfer case plus an extra $700 for a labor. After replacing the transfer case, he told me that I also need a new bearing which is gonna cost me another $700. $2400 in total. I went for a second opinion and I learned that very likely the bearing was the only thing that needed fixing. I wanted get my old transfer case back from AQ, but I've been told I need to pay for it. Summing up, I can't recommend the service here. The mechanic is very friendly as a person though.

I went to A-Q Auto Mechanic and Qumar was very helpful with diagnosis of a problem and gave me multiple solution options (not just the most expensive one), he was very accommodating and I trusted his opinion. Would highly recommend this mechanic.

I had my engine replaced at this mechanic. Although the repair was expensive, the work was extensive. The mechanic was available both after hours and during working hours for any questions. The shop was open on the weekends and google reviews like mine helped me choose their shop. The mechanic brought me into the shop floor and showed me the repair extents and plans. I appreciate the work they completed, including unauthorized yet required repairs such as a transmission fluid change. Would be 5 Stars if I was asked before these unauthorized repairs.

Stopped by without an appointment because my brakes were grinding before a long drive. He took my car in, got the parts, and did the repairs within a couple of hours. Brakes were good as new, and he even rust proofed the rotor. Excellent service!

I went here because my tire was making a clunking noise and I did not know what it was. He said the wheel bearing was broken and needed to be replaced. $240 for the part plus labour. And the bearing on the other side should be replaced too he said. AND he said oil was leaking from my power steering, he showed me that there was some oil on it. I had just had it replaced not that long ago. So I went to get a second opinion and it turns out all my tire needed was to have the bolts tightened AND the power steering was not leaking at all, there was just some oil spilled on it from my last oil change!! Long story short this guy tried to take advantage of me and tried to rip me off hundreds of dollars!! I am so glad I did not let him do the work. You might think he is just trying to help because he seems very helpful but don't be fooled, this shop is a scam.
