Service department was busy. Service desk isolated us from the mechanics and gave a third hand account of what was wrong. Problem was FL80 with a CAT engine losing power. Minimal CAT techs at this location. ~3 hrs of diagnostic testing after a day wait. Tech diagnosed as a faulty injector. Needed to wait 2 days for parts from Phoenix after telling service desk I would drive to Phoenix and deliver the parts myself. Service department would not schedule the CAT tech to install the injector until the part was in hand. Total process took 5 days. Service department stated truck was road tested after service and that the truck had power “95% of the time”. We left Freightliner, shifted into 4th gear, and truck lost all power. The original catastrophic failure ended up being the pump, not the injector. This would have been evident if the mechanic would have actually driven the truck to assess power loss. Brought the truck in to a more experienced certified CAT service center. Freightliner of Arizona installed the injector they replaced incorrectly and their misdiagnosis of the injector over the diesel pump resulted in line air and failure of another injector. Our experience is similar to other 1-Star ratings from this center. Recommend you reassess visiting if you are an owner/operator. I do not recommend this dealer for CAT service. Cornwell’s Truck Repair, south of the interstate, had the pump on hand, is experienced with CAT, and was able to work on our CAT the same day.

These guys are expensive. These guys are always booked solid. These guys are cool as heck. Been coming here since they opened. Excellent customer service. Ive never left with a problem unresolved. Well worth the money and the long wait. Can drive out of there confident my stuff is fixed correctly. I would rather spend more money the first time than to hope they get it right the third time. Good job on my transmission guys. Thank you

I was so pleased with the service. They got us in and out. The fellow that checked us in was so friendly and went the extra to help.

We spent 2 weeks here trying to get our RV fixed. Everyone that came in was told the same thing. First day diagnostic but need to diagnose more tomorrow. Most people that went in either the semi wasn't theirs, it was under warranty or the people knew nothing about mechanics. My husband knows all about mechanics but doesn't have equipment to do it himself and the RV was ours. They tried to say they did so much diagnostic but my husband watched them bring in the RV and take it out and it was half the time they tried to charge us for. In addition they did work that wasn't needed, didn't finish work or messed up causing leaks. We were able to finally get the RV fixed. Friends brought their RV in to Freightliner's. This was the 6th time (all different freightliners). They made it to El Paso TX from Tucson before it broke down again fir the 7th time. They finally took it in to Cummings where it was finally fixed. Freightliner's problem at least in Tucson was they didn't have knowledgeable mechanics. It didn't matter whether it was a semi truck or an RV they had problems fixing it.

Management tells you anything to get you away from them. Never felt so angry at a company for it's lack of integrity and service. Go somewhere else.
