Russ was extremely helpful. I was in a stressful situation and he cheerfully and quickly provided a second opinion which was thoroughly detailed and well explained, with reasonable prices.

nice people good work, you must know why you get it done what you get done, if you need OEM parts or parts which are like OWN or better amd your prices as with every car repair shop. but trustworthy to get it right.

Been going to Russ for many years, driving a long distance to see him. He's a great mechanic who knows German cars really well. If you own one out of warranty, you will save a ton of money and get much better service at John's Foreign Car than at any dealer. Highly recommended!

These gents are excellent, reasonably priced and honest folks. Good place to purchase tires from.

I first took my BMW here a few years ago when my car had a transmission problem that no other shop could figure out, including the BMW dealer. After I spent over $1,200.00 on needless repairs that didn't fix my problem, a friend of mine suggested I take my car to Russ. Not only did he correctly diagnose what was wrong with it, he fixed the problem same day and left my car running amazing, all for a very reasonable price (way cheaper than the dealer!!!). I have taken all of my cars and my family members' cars here ever since. Not only is Russ an excellent mechanic (one of the best in Southern California), he is extremely honest, helpful and fair. I highly recommend taking your foreign (especially German) cars to John's Foreign Car Service. You won't be disappointed! 5+ Stars
