Joes Pit Stop.com - Arlington & Mansfield TX

Great customer service. 1. They towed my car from Dallas. I had called late in the afternoon, but despite traffic causing them to work through their closing hours, they still made sure to get my vehicle to the shop that day. (no complaints from them, just something I noticed) 2. I work on my car all the time & Michael mentioned concerns that I had known existed for a while. He quoted me before working on anything & gave me a very clear & accurate breakdown of what needed to be serviced & why. 3. I got my car back in just 2 days. 4. After about a month my car is still feeling pretty sturdy & dependable. Michael was very honest & overall made sure ALL of my issues were resolved. Nothing less, nothing more. Him & his team definitely went above & beyond. I did spend a good chunk of money as expected with any major car repair (or in this case repairs), but I did my homework & to be honest I could have caught myself spending a WHOLE lot more at other shops.

Tan and the crew (and Yoshi) took great care of me. Diagnosed the issue with my vehicle and gave a reasonable repair price. No more vibration and rumble-car rides very smooth now. I highly recommend them if you desire honesty about your needed repairs. Will definitely use them again!

I forgot to plug in my mass airflow (MAF) cable after replacing my air filter, this caused a loud clunk when the car was placed into gear. T&K towed it to their shop and 30 hours later they called to say they found frayed wires. He couldn't tell me where the wires were, what they were connected to, and couldn't take pictures of it because nobody had a camera and the damage couldn't be seen but it could be felt. He said it would be $200-300 to fix. This sounded suspicious and I stated that I would drive up there to inspect for myself. During the drive I remembered the MAF cable was unplugged. When I arrived on-site, the technician presented wires connected to the MAF, front and center, clearly visible, and with the plastic guard removed and clearly scrapped insulation. I feel this was purposefully and fraudulently done. I accused him of lying about what happened. The other technician snickered and walked away. I asked what I owed him to scrape my wires and he said $70 for tow and $60 for diagnosis. So we walked to the front office with my credit card in hand. However, instead of accepting my payment, he called his manager. The manager arrived a few minutes later and immediately started asking if I was a police officer or working for any law enforcement agency, and I ceased talking to him. He proceeded to call 911 stating that I was impersonating an officer. After the call ended he said people are always accusing them of fraudulent work and told me to wait outside. I couldn't believe how things were unfolding, but I waited patiently for the Arlington police to arrive. Once there, I explained to the officer the situation and he said T&K was not going to charge me money but that I was also receiving a criminal trespass warning and that I wasn't allowed back on T&K's property. The whole situation is absurdly hilarious. Especially since if they hadn't of called the police I would have paid the $130. Now I have frayed wires that were not frayed before. See picture.

I would give 10 stars if i could. I will go no where else for my car care needs. Tan was helpful and knowldgeable. He explained everything and worked with me handling the claim with my warranty. I had no idea what to do and if the warranty would cover anything. Tan took care of everything.

The manager /owner Tan is a very respectable and honest mechanic. He will not beat around the bush and his work is guaranteed. I've never had a problem and he's always told me what I need to know what's wrong with my car. This place is awesome
