I took my 95 OBS up to the guys at twisted diesel a week ago. They quickly identified my fuel and exhaust leak and also put in a Ts6 position chip and air intake. From the jump they were honest and efficient. Daryl notified me that my exhaust leak was a simple missing bolt at my Y pipe. He could have up sold me on new pipes and I would have went with it none the wiser. Not only were they honest and efficient, the price I paid for parts and labor was extremely affordable. Now my truck runs like a scalded dog and the turn around time was literally a day and a half. They've got a customer for life .

So I purchased a Stage 2 transmission for my 2007 F250 and in exactly a year and some days later, the torque converter has began to come apart. I noticed after adding a Edge CT2 tuner that I was able to see that the Transmission fluid temp was at 220 plus degrees or higher with only in city driving. Called TDP, and was told that it was a sensor. Well obviously that wasnt it. So now that I've had the same local shop that purchased the transmission from them too diagnosed the problem and pulled the transmission out to only find a pan full of metal shavings. So it has been returned to TDP which they apparently forgot to get picked up for almost a week. It's been a entire MONTH with my truck still down and no solid info on when I will get it back. And not to mention I'm out of money because I'm having to rent a vehicle until they decide to stop dragging there feet on returning my transmission or my money. I will never recommend them to anyone for anything especially if they think it's better to refurbished the old transmission instead of sending a new one. Very disappointing. Should've purchase a Suncoast transmission. So it's been almost 2 months now since CDT has installed the transmission that TDP has finally returned too only have a Trans fluid leak from the Pan and temp is still going too high. Was suggested to CDP to change gasket which was done and Trans is still leaking with high Temps. This by far has been the worst experience with any shop I've every had to deal with. Was asked by the owner what tune am I running on there built stage 2 transmission? What? Still out of money for a rental, no return call from the owner, a year old $800.00 mishimoto radiator that was bypassed because it's full of metal shavings and Trans still isn't right. If there was a way to give a negative 5 stars, I surely would've done so by now.

Watch out they will rip you off like they did me years ago on my 7.3 trans. It lasted 15000 miles on there built trans on a lightly modded 7.3. I paid over 5 k for the trans only to have it go up and the owner doesnt stand by there warranty and i was all the way in NC. Wouldn't recommend them to anyone. Bet you a high school kid with no knowledge could build a better trans.

This is without a doubt the most honest shop I deal with; they have good turnaround, fair price, and it seems they ALWAYS fix the issue for me on the first shot. I bring all 7 of my ambulances to Twisted Diesel any time we have engine or transmission issues.

This is the third time I've tried using them. First time they quoted me 1000 to do a turbo cleaning on my 6.0. This was when I was trying to find out if there was an exhaust 'll leak. Turns out it was a $7 EGR valve gasket. second time my turbo blew up and I called for an estimate for replacing the turbo. $6000 is way high for a 800 part replacement. And they act like they are the only show in town. Today I tried to contact them and no answer. And yes it was during business hours. Do your research. There are better more reputable places in the area.
