Ken Hammer was a fantastic realtor for us. My wife and I have been looking at buying a home in Nanaimo for quite awhile. Ken was very helpful to us in showing us properties when we were clearly still getting a feel for the market and what we really wanted/needed. He had great insights into the local market, and on the homes we were looking at. Very professional, friendly and genuine. It was a great pleasure to work with Ken and I would have no hesitation in recommending him.

Selena Rnsm , FYI, the REALTOR Wes Smith works for RE/MAX Ocean Pointe not RE/MAX Nanaimo, two different entities.

I will never EVER use any RE/MAX business to ever purchase or sell a home! One of their realtors sold a home to his friend and my mother and aunt arbitrated their eviction to extend for a month due to the fact that they do not get possession of their new home until then. But now Wes Smith of RE/MAX Nanaimo is leading his client in the terrorization & harassment of my mother and aunt at their property. Why the realtor is involved? I have no idea, I guess he does not care about his reputation and presenting a professional presence and my mother has contacted RE/MAX management and they do not care and allow this behaviour to continue by their staff! This harassment includes: vandalism of personal property, breaking into my aunt's storage unit in the house and destroying her property within, throwing it all over the staircase so they cannot exit their home, vandalism of my mothers van (spray painting the word "goof" as well as smashing the mirrors and windows), threatening and attempts of intimidation by throwing a ceramic flowerpot over their heads smashing it on the ground. Wes Smith entered the home without permission or notice (illegal in the Residential Tenancy Act) with his client and 2 other men. Wes Smith is trying to scare and intimidate my mother into standing down instead of following her legal rights. Wes Smith is INSANE! I would never purchase or sell using him or RE/MAX! The deal is done, I still really don't understand why he is making such awful derogatory actions. You're commission is made, allow the owner of the home to deal with this instead of taking it into your own hands! If this is not crazy I don't know what is. I could not make this up!
